Around eighty percent of those "new human organisms" are spontaneously aborted, most before they even attach to the uterine wall. This is why we call such life "potential life", dearie. Not until week 21, at the very earliest, is it viable outside the womb, and most prematures born that early die within hours or days.
This is what those "new human organisms" look like (four days after conception):

Cute little baby, isn't it, Crazy?
This is a seven-week old embryo, at a time when many abortions happen.

Even cuter, right?
Now we are at week 16. Very few countries that have reproductive rights for women allow abortions after week 16-18, unless there's a medical problem with the fetus, the pregnancy or the woman carrying the fetus. After week 21, it's no longer an abortion, but a premature birth. (The US is the only country, to my knowledge, that speak of "abortion" this late in the pregnancy.)

It's starting to look like a baby, but I wouldn't call it "cute" yet.
When I asked how babies are made, my parents handed me the book A Child is Born, by photographer Lennart Nilsson, and I've known since childhood that THIS is the face of an embryo:

Not THIS:
