I don’t believe most terrorists feel like they’re terrorists. They believe they’re morally right and/or think they’re punishing those who deserve it.

I stopped reading at "illegal." Those 50 people are in the United States legally as asylum seekers who presented themselves at a border crossing. I have had to point this out to - and I'm not even kidding - over 100 morons on Twitter including members of Congress! There are so many lying Trumpists out there that it occupied hours of my time on the only day off I get to explain not only that these people are asylum seekers but also how a Constitutional Republic is supposed to work.
I *saw* a republic turn into a dictatorship. And I warned them that what can happen once can happen anywhere. They ignored my warnings and played stupid word games, deflecting questions along with any kind of blame. They are a positive danger to democracy. And I told the chest-beaters agitating for Civil War that not only would such a distraction be a long and bloody affair, but it would be the end of the Republic. And since the Constitution of the United States relies upon there being a United States, such a war would signal the destruction of the Constitution as well. In other words, they could kiss their rights goodbye.

If the Republicans win the midterms and eventually the Whitehouse, I predict the United States will be a dictatorship by the year 2030. And alas for the good people, past US cruelty is such that no nation on Earth will want anything to do with the refugees. Such has been the rhetoric of the United States concerning refugees from other countries.
I'm sorry it happened before. I did my due diligence. I faced nothing but mockery for it. So now? I feel as if I should just sit down and leave America to its fate without further warning from me. Americans want to play Nazi? Let them bear the shame of it, even as we have.
The migrants did nothing illegal, they were following lawful authority. The problem is, the people in that position of authority took it upon themselves to first illegally misdirect the migrants to the wrong agency then falsify documents and dump them in a state they had no authority in with false promises of housing. And also conditions intentionally impossible to follow to manufacture an excuse to deport them since no legal grounds existed. All with the express hope that the residents would react like junkyard dogs that just had their tails stepped on and crime would occur because that's how Floridian Republicans would react. As laughable as that expectation was, the fact this was intended to result in physical harm or monetary damages makes it no laughing matter and indeed an act of aggression.
What happened instead was the residents acted like human beings and even took it upon themselves to do the legal busywork DeSantis and his co-conspirators deliberately and illegally subverted, getting paid I might add to fuck up a job they stole from Americans at the agencies that were actually supposed to be handling migrants, and in calmly dealing with this malicious stunt which broke the law a dozen times over the people you're trying to insult and demonize kept the promises the law makes in the place of those who are supposed to be in service to those laws.
The Party of Law and Order yet again demonstrated utter contempt for any obligation to the law.

I was hoping someone would bring up that the “illegal immigrants” DeSantis decided to traffic were actually asylum seekers, which is legal (although Donald Trump and Steven Miller really wanted it to be illegal, along with immigration involving non-white immigrants period).
