I am an avid supporter of Hovind and his ministries. I also believe the counts on which he was charged are without base, that the income tax itself was never established as an actual law, and none will find it anywhere. You can ask a judge, IRS officials, any law-enforcement officer, or anyone at all and they will not be able to show you the law, because it DOESN'T EXIST. Watch "America: Freedom to Fascism" to discover the real truth behind Hovind's main alleged "crime": income tax. And even then, his ministry was a church, and all money in was considered "gifts" from supporters, so technically, even if the income tax was actually a lawful tax, Hovind still wouldn't be violating any principles this law lays down. The only reason anyone discovered his actions was Beka Horton, who hated him for exposing Pensacola Christian College as a... to put it lightly, an unfriendly school regarding security and inside sourcing (spying). She blew the whistle on him out of spite, and she'll be answering to God for what she did, putting an innocent man in jail where he doesn't belong.
