“(discussing the problem with non-creationists) They absolutely do not care about Scripture.”
This is accurate. What surprises you?
“They never discuss scripture.”
Oh, untrue. We’re ALWAYS pointing out what Scriture says that’s complete bullshit.
“When they ask for "Evidence" they are not asking for Scriptural Evidence,”
Well, that would be like saying Superman’s Real, and offering Action Comics as the ‘evidence’ for it.
“ but they want NATURAL evidence.”
Or any evidence that can be objectively evaluated. If it’s meant to be historical, we need to know who wrote it, when, and why.
"Imagine that. What ever scripture supports or insists on creatio ex nihilo, creation out of nothing, they dispense with as "prescientific," or allegorical, etc.”
It’s a book of stories.
Do YOU believe in Thor because of the Eddas?
"Also, they do not believe that the Text has a particular meaning, but that it is a matter of personal preference and multiple choice.”
We don’t BELIEVE that, we OBSERVE that. People who swear they’re bible believers offer various interpretations and differ on which parts are allegory or historical. So, hammer down your own meanings before offering them as evidence.
"hey do not know the Scriptures nor the power of God.”
The power of God keeps getting smaller and smaller. He made EVERYTHING, then he couldn’t save the biosphere without Noah’s help. The he couldn’t make a messiah without a woman’s womb. Now he can barely make picture of Jesus in Toast.
As to scripture, i know a little about it, enough to get all kinds of people upset when they say ’that’s not in the Bible! I’ve read it many times!’
Things like the woman who’s lovers were hung like mules, or that the Flood lasted a year, not 40 days, and so on.
