What complete utter stupidity
How nice of you to put such a spot on summary of your screed right ther at the top of your post.
Talk about the a slap in the face to all those who died or lost friends and families on 9/11
And yet the "good people" over there at RR don't seem to mind exploiting and belittling those whose lost loved ones or their very lives by blaming the 9/11 attacks on gays, secularists, or abortion providers and who used 9/11 to promote hatred of muslims and to justify torture and indiscriminent slaughter of muslims in general, spewing such utter shit as "all muslims are terrorists" and giving no regard to the fact that the vast majority of those muslims who died in this modern day crusade were guilty of absolutely nothing, other than being muslim.
If this passes I wonder how the residents of NYC are going to take it?
I'd like to think that most new yorkers have sense enough to realize that not all muslims are to blame for 9/11, and shouldn't be discriminated for it, a fact of reality that seems to have been lost on you.
Somehow I see many protests over this
And when you don't are you going to whine about that they are being oppressed by Obama (the "secrest muslim") of those terrorist loving liberals? Who am I kidding, of course you will.
I wonder what Obama, oops I mean Barry thinks about this?
Does it matter? The New York City Council, BoE, and the NYC mayor don't answer to Obama, nor does he have control over matters of NYC policy
So explain why they continue to take Christ out of Christmas in schools?
Because the public government funded school system must remain neutral on the matter of religion, neither favoring nor peomoting any single religion. It's not the place of the school to indoctrinate children into your religion or anybody else's.
Why have school children have been told not to bring Bibles to school?
That one's simple, they haven't. You are lying, or you just believe whatever you are told to believe without checking the fact's yourself. There is no ban on bibles in public schools, that would also violate the 1st ammendment by preventing free exercise of religion.
And also the fact that evolution is taught in schools.
Yes it is. That's because evolution is a scientific fact with literal mountains of evidence behind it.
I remember being taught in kindergarten in the mid 80's that we came from apes
Then you were either taught a misunderstanding of the ToE, or you are just making shit up again. The ToE does not claim, infer, or even suggest that man evolved from apes. If you are going to attack a theory then at least try to learn what that theory posits.
when I told my mother this after school, she was HOT!
If you told her the same thing you said here then she should be pissed. You were lying to her after all.
I wonder if there will be a time in America that they start teaching Islamic doctrine in our public schools?
Do you honestly think that because mandatory, forced christian prayer isn't allowed that they will just up and start mandatory forced muslim prayer? Grow up. It's a requirement of a public school to remain neutral on religioous matters.
The way things are going I can certainly see that happening in the future
You see what you want to see. But for such a thing to truly happen then the constitution of the US would first have to be change to eliminate the 1st Ammendment. You are just fearmongering to stir up hatred towards muslims and cry "Persecution!!!!" on behalf of yourself and your fellow christian supremacists.
Interesting that, taking from the Christians and giving to the Muslims.
Well then, you tell me just what it was that was "taken from christians and given to muslims"? Can you name one single thing that was taken? Most of the "rights" you are crying about were "rights" that neither you nor anyone else had to take away in the first place.
Your problem is that you don't want muslims, or any other religious groups for that matter, to be on equal footing as yours. You think that being christian imparts special status upon you that makes you superior, a feeling of Christianity uber Alles that you think makes you better than people of other religions and therefore allowed to dicate how, when, and where non-christians can or cannot practice their religion.
Once again, and all too often I might add, we see you fundies engaging in the Politics of Fear, and the Warfare of Cowards.
