"And, for your education, the age of the earth is primarily the domain of geologists and paleontologists....not those concerned with the evolutionary process. "
but is used by evolutionists to prove that evolution had time to happen. If the earth was only 6000 to 10000 years old as creationists believe then there wouldn't be enough time to explain why evolution isn't happening today.

This post is pointing out something that most of us mistake about creationists. Most of them don't think evolution isn't happening right now, this is the whole micro vs macro bullshit, but it's that they don't believe it was responsible for the origins of life. This of course leads creationists to mistakenly argue against evolution as though it were the theory that explains how everything came into being.
Evolution is happening today.
You, for example, will be extinct soon.
Evolution is happening, has been and always will be happening.
And, the how can the earth only be 6,000 years old when we have rocks older than 4 billion years old?
It IS happening today!

Hannity and O'Reilly should be permanently banned from speaking where it is even minutely possible that sane members of the public will hear them. Unfortunately, this won't stop them speaking on FOX News, obviously.

That doesn't even make mathematical sense. It's like the old joke: the motorist gets pulled over for speeding, the cop says "you were doing 100 miles an hour.", and the motorist responds "That's not possible - I've only been driving for twenty minutes!"
You've got us there, genius. Evolutionists don't need to prove that the Earth is old, but they do basically require it to be older than the absurdly and irrationally low numbers you assume it to be. Yet, somehow, I don't think that it is problem.

The isotope ratios in those rocks were put there by SATAN , to trick you into thinking the Earth was older than it actually is!
See, the ToE and Earth's approximate age kinda walk hand-in-hand. You really don't see scientists saying "Uh, well, okay, yeah, the Earth is 6000 years old. But that doesn't mean evolution isn't real!! Oh no, no-no, it definitely does not! *cue cartoonish evil laughter*"

Yeah... think about it. Maybe the Earth is far, far older than that? Say more than a hundred thousand times as older as that?
One huge mistake people make is thinking that evolution ISN'T happening - in reality, we're evolving away our wisdom teeth (some people don't get them at all any more), getting taller (people even 2000 years ago in the time of your precious Jesus were shorter), and possibly even evolving away our pinkies.
Confused?
