Evolution is a religious faith. If the evolutionists want to believe in evolution, they are free to do so. We live in America which is a free country. We are free to choose what we want to believe. What I am upset about is the fact that their faith is being taught as science in the public school system at my expense as a taxpayer . That upsets me greatly! [Emphasis added]

I'm greatly upset that you are suckling off the public teat for shelter, medical, and three squares a day. You filthy piece of shit. You are living better than half the hard-working people in this country.
Fuck off and die, already.
What I am upset about is the fact that their faith is being taught as science in the public school system at my expense as a taxpayer.
Unfortunately that argument was tried in court and dismissed, so it's dead. The court expects people to speak English, not their own made-up language where their words mean something different from what the rest of us mean.
At first I was like, "Why was that bolded?"
Then I looked a little further down, and laughed my ass off.
Notwithstanding the fact that this statement arguably could have been held against him in his trial for tax evasion, why single out any expense in the government's budget in that manner? I think it's safe to assume that there will always be something in the budget that each and every individual taxpayer might object to.
Why is it that the conservatives are the only ones who express this kind of outrage?
I object to the use of my tax dollars to arrest, prosecute, and incarcerate people for marijuana possession. Maybe I should be more vocal about it....
Evolution is a religious faith.
Lie #1.
If the evolutionists want to believe in evolution, they are free to do so.
Yep.
We live in America which is a free country. We are free to choose what we want to believe.
True, but that does not make your beliefs right. It makes your beliefs your beliefs.
Now, which part of that means you can also shove your beliefs down others' throats?
What I am upset about is the fact that their faith is being taught as science in the public school system
Evolution has a lot more scientific backing for it than creationism. Scientific backing. You know, that thing that you teach in science classes?
at my expense as a taxpayer.
Lie #2, 3, 4, and 5. Because it fails just that badly.
That upsets me greatly!
Then get some proof for creation.
Okay, who let the Jesus nut in? Oh, right we don't discriminate.
Welcome, nutter. Try reading a few things, you might learn something.
"...at my expense as a taxpayer."
If evolution was a religious faith instead of a fact of nature I could, perhaps, see your point. However, as you are an inveterate liar, thief, fraudster and currently serving ten years in prison for tax evasion (and also indicted for making threats against those carrying out the investigation) your opinion - on anything - is worthless.
Hope you're enjoying the fruits of your labours. I know I am.
See, the problem is, douchebag...may I call you douchebag? thank you...see, the problem is, douchbag, the only way for your assumption to stand on its own feet is for evolution to be a religion. But evolution isn't, it is indeed a science as it uses natural evidence, observation, and provides us with even more knowledge to advance medicine.
Creationism is a religious faith. If the creationists want to believe in creationism, they are free to do so. We live in America which is a free country. We are free to choose what we want to believe. What I am upset about is the fact that their faith is being taught as science in the public school system at my expense as a taxpayer. That upsets me greatly!
at my expense as a taxpayer
***snicker***
Yeah, not according to the IRS it isn't.
Just a thought though.
Last summer I went to the Frank slide interpretive centre and saw this
image
It was discovered by high school kids looking for the Frank bank (a favourite hobby for local teenagers). Would a fundie freak out about seeing this affront to God somewhere they didn't expect it? I mean obviously the Frank slide was caused by God to punish the towns folk for some reason.
his PHuD is a gold mine of phail quotes.
I worries me that in the USA, one of the most advances in the world, there are so many people who believe fairy tales that couldn't hold their own against Hans Chriatian Anderson, or the Grimm boys.
And it seriously worries me that so many of these people are in positions of influence and power, and could (and are) screwing things up for the rest of the world
First of all, Evolution is not a religion. Second, be consequent and don´t push your agenda, which is REAL religion, to others in school. And for the sake of consistency, PAY YOU TAXES, for once, and don´t hang on the tax exempt status of the churches.
Hahaahahahahaahahah
Hahaha
Oh Kent, you should go on the road with this thing.
You know, once you get out of prison for being a tax evading fucker.
a taxpayer. That upsets me greatly!
[Emphasis fixed]
And as a result Kentypoos, Bubba bumming you on a regular basis upsets you greatly. And the thought of such amuses me greatly!
Religion can be defined as the worship of a deity or deities, whereas a cult is like a religion but relies on a single person or a small group of people to continue to exist. Evolution has neither a deity nor a person at the head of it whose death would disband the whole thing. Ergo, it is not a religion or a cult.
Alphabetic Order is nothing but a religion and faith. There's no scientific proof that letters must be arranged in any specific order. Why the hell is it taught in the public school!
See where this leads, Kent?
What about evolution makes it a faith? We have empirical evidence to back it up, unlike anything in the BuyBull.
This is not a real dissertation. It's a sham from a diploma mill.
"Taxpayer" and "Kent Hovind" should never be used in the same sentence.
Also, brb laughing very hard.
Evolution is no more a religious faith than Hovind apparently is a taxpayer.
If I was an American taxpayer I'd be upset that some of my hard earned money was going towards feeding this moron. Given the choice, I'd rather give it to the "Save The Cockroach" Foundation or George W.Bush's retirement plan.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
