Life is life. Why kill a baby if the mother's life is in danger?
Because in most cases, if the mother's life is in danger, the fetus is going to die anyway.
Why not let the mother die and save the baby?
Because in most cases, if the mother's life is in danger, the fetus is going to die anyway.
Who are we to choose which life should be chosen over another?
BECAUSE IN MOST CASES, IF THE MOTHER'S LIFE IS IN DANGER, THE FETUS IS GOING TO DIE ANYWAY.
We can either save the mother, or let both mother and fetus die. So we choose to save mom, because we CAN save her.
Mom isn't a hypothetical life. She's real, and she's here, now. The fetus IS a hypothetical life.
Why not leave it into God's hands to decide who should live or die.
Because, historically, when we "leave it into God's hands," the result is two dead instead of only one.
It is disturbing that some people claim to be pro life then put restrictions on life....
It is even more disturbing that some people who claim to be pro-life would choose to let the mother die in order to try to preserve a fetus that stands little to no chance of survival.
