I forgot, it was Jesus that invented English, there in the Middle East? Just answer one little question, then - why did King James' gang have to translate it back into English in 16-something or other? And did Chaucer just have to hold his tongue for a couple of centuries until then?
Probably because they're Americans too, and a majority of Americans speak English. And there's not really much you can do about that. In America, you have to the right to speak any language you want to.
You know, I was thinking about writing a comment in my native language (Dutch) just to screw with the OP (after all, I can say whatever I want as long as I'm not speaking the holy language of English, right?), but I'm not so sure. I mean, for one, it would be rude to my fellow FSTDTers, and it would lose its impact considering that, even if the OP were here, he'd be too ignorant and stupid to understand it anyway.
Ah, screw it, I'll say something anyway.
Hell, let's go even further. How about we let everybody who speaks languages other than these three say whatever the hell they want to the OP?
Christians speak English
Well, they do in the US and England, which is probably about as far as your pointed little head can fathom. However, shouldn't that be: Christians speak Koine Greek / Aramaic?
And these days "the Jews", i.e. in Israel, speak Ivrith which is pretty far away from Biblical Hebrew. And the Koran is in Classical Arabic which modern day Arabs barely understand.
I think Latin America would get a real kick out of your "Christians speak English".
Why aren't you speaking one of the Native American languages: instead of that of the immigrants your ancestors were...?!
Those of the Church of Malta refer to the Christian deity as Allah : the Arabic word for 'God'.
Atheists - Infinity +1. Christains - 0.
Checkmate, fundies.
@Timjer :

Huh. And here I thought it was the king's English. Who knew?
One time a kid came to our school class from Mexico who spoke no English.
One of the other kids asked me, "Why does he talk in Spanish?
He has to think in English, doesn't he?"
In a way, we do have our own language. It's a version of English loaded with terms regarding science, economics & philosophy. Just try explaining something to any of these bible sniffers; they'll stare at you like a deer in the headlights. It would be even funnier if it wasn't so damn pathetic.
Do you think this person knows that English didn't exist back in Jesus' day?
Also, how many Jews actually speak Hebrew anymore?
"And at the ninth hour, Jesus shouted in a loud voice, 'Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?' which is translated, 'My God, my God, for what have you forsaken me?'"
Yeah
English.
Confused?
