Even chief newsreader at BBC Look North Peter Levy would disagree with you.
Just take the train to Hull, Trev; won't take very long. The women down Hessle Road would drink you under the pub , never mind the table: and kick you like a human football all the way to the Humber Bridge & back without spilling a drop from their glasses, they're that hard.
All the women wearing black & white leaving the KCOM Stadium.
Their husbands/boyfriends/brothers would watch & laugh while their wives/girlfriends/sisters showed their experience in proving you wrong about Rugby League: all the while they sang "Old Faithful".
...while they socially re-engineered your face.
So quit trying to engineer the social event, idiot.
It's self defeating to say women can't understand football if you not only never let them play, but pitch a fit if a woman even talks about it. Nobody needs your permission to be a fan of anything and the douche who thinks he can play doorman to the fandom is not only the least liked guy in that fandom he's the one eroding all interest in it. But going by your own flippant dismissal concerning experience you have no experience delivering the news and therefore aren't qualified to tell her how to do her job. Now sit down, enjoy the game, and do shut up. The adults are talking.
Feminists pay the licence fee, so why shouldn't they have an opinion on this? Besides, outside of a few vocal idiots I don't think many would care. I don't see why Alex Scott or others shouldn't be able to contribute, I don't see why their knowledge is inferior to the men on there. Most pundits are men, most games have all male pundit line-ups; if you think that the women are taking over you're mistaken.
If you want quality commentary I look forward to you campaigning for the removal of Alan Shearer, Glenn Hoddle, Rio Ferdinand, Lee Dixon and other such bores.
Confused?
