When Libraries are under attack and Librarians threatened with being fired by politicians, it's only a step to book-burning. And the mindless and ignorant will surely revel in it. That's it. Voting for either Obama or the independent candidate. Not that I didn't want to before now, but this makes it clear Palin is not my idea of who should be VP. Besides, I can't support someone who would burn books just because they have foul language or sexual content in them.

That's not quite the case. They don't care what random people read (after all, they are commie atheist liberal Muslim homosexual pagans, and are going to hell anyway). This authoritarian impulse stems from two things:
1. The fundies don't want their children to be exposed to evil outside ideas.
