Full Term Abortions? Are you sure you're not thinking about c-sections and stillborn children? In Sweden, it's only an abortion until week 20, after that it's a medically "jump-started" birth with bleak prospect, or a stillbirth, if the fetus is already dead.
Why don't you move to El Salvador, Cheryl, if you think women just get pregnant for the sheer fun of having a late term abortion? Thousands of women in El Salvador and other countries in Central America are in prison for 30-40 years, for having suffered through a miscarriage, which the justice system just assumes MUST be an abortion. Here it's crystal clear that the "pro-life" side is ONLY about controlling women. No-one cares about life here (except the women who are devastated that their expected and probably already loved future child died in the womb). The system doesn't care about the lives of the children that are already born to these women (who will grow up without mothers), or the lives of their husbands (who will try to bring up the children on their own), or the lives of other relatives. All that matters to the justice system is to PUNISH, PUNISH, PUNISH, PUNISH, PUNISH the godless trollops who dared to be human beings.
Oh, and Cheryl; how many unwanted babies have you adopted? How many orphanages have you financed? How much have you donated to Planned Parenthood? How many "welfare queens" have you supported? Do you ACTUALLY care for the lives of the CHILDREN that are not aborted? Or are they only interesting until they are Biblically "alive" (i.e. breathing on their own)? Once they are breathing, they are on their own?
Oh, again, can you quote chapter and verse from the Bible where God clearly prohibits abortions as the most heinous of crimes? Remember, according to the Bible, life begins with a breath, so embryos and fetuses aren't alive, and you can't technically "murder" them, as murder is the taking of a life.
(Footnote. I'm probably well past my birth-giving years, so the white-hot anger I feel for tyrants/terrorists like this is not for my sake. As I never managed to have any children, people like this might think that I'd be angry at women who have abortions, because they remove a life when I could not bring forth a life. But no, each person has to decide for herself (and to some extent himself) if they are able to care for a child at this stage, and if not, if they will be able to give birth and give it up for adoption. No-one else can do that for them. If you can't bring yourself to have an abortion, I'm fully on your side for that decision as well. Your body - your choice! Once we're able to remove embryos/fetuses from the womb and put them in artificial wombs, "pro-life" people can sponsor and care for as many of these transplanted children as they want. Somehow I think it will not be as interesting anymore, then...)
