Evolution is a framework in which all evidence is interpreted (as is creationism) and if there is evidence that does not fit into the model, then the model must be modified or rejected. In relation to evolution, there has to be an explanation of how the magnetic fields of the planets have lasted for billins of years. This where the dynamo (and Mercury) come in. Mercury is an odd planet, in that it has a magnetic field where the dynamo theory says it shouldn't. What I'am asking is if I've done my homework right, and if not, explain how evolution does account for the magnetic field of Mercury.

1. Evolution is modified all the time to account for new evidence.
2. The Earth's magnetic field reverses itself over periods of thousands of years.
3. Never heard that claim about Mercury, but it's completely irrelevant to evolution, anyway.
Aside from the fact that mercury's gravity has nothing to do with evolution the dynamo theory of magnetism does not preclude Mercury from having magnetism. Scientists speucluate that Mercury may still have a liquid core kept that way by tidal effects. Another proposal for Mercury's magnetism is that it was generated by an earlier dynamo effect wi9th the field frozen in solidified materials. On top of this, as far as i am aware the dynamo theory explains how magnetism works on earth, it isn't the universal theory of magnetism ie i don't believe any scientist has claimed it is the only way in which magnetism can occour.
God dammit, how many things do they think are part of the theory of evolution? "Please explain to me how the theory of evolution accounts for why my brake pads are low when I just got new ones, I don't see how natural selection can possibly explain that."

Obviously you have not done your homework right. Astronomy and astrophysics has nothing to do with evolution which is a branch of biology. Evolution does not explain anything out of the realm of biology and that includes astronomy, physics, theology or philosophy.
Dear World,
Please learn what the FUCK EVOLUTION IS before debating about it on internet forum boards.
Thank you,

Oh boy you didn't do your homework.
Now that science has explained the magnetic field of mercury, DO YOU BELIEVE in physics now.
In 1974 when the Mariner mission measured a magnetic field round Mercury the scientific community was surprised and stated “we don’t know what’s causing the magnetic field around Mercury”, yet the whole edifice of science didn’t come tumbling down. This is the difference between science and fanaticism’s like creationism. In Creationism they have to defend every single thing that their Bable Book states; for if a single contradiction, “fact”, or story is shown to be wrong, then Bable Inerrancy is proven to be false and the whole edifice of their fanaticism, their way of life, their sense of self, the very reason for their existence collapses.
Do you have a reason to live anymore ?

Four words: Kitzmiller versus Dover, bitches.
"explain how evolution does account for the magnetic field of Mercury."
Well, after the original series, Mercury's abilities do become more powerful in subsequent series of "Sailor Moon"; although my favourite is Mars; her fire-based attacks always were cool (no pun intended! X3 ). There's a non-sequitur for you - and a far more entertaining one!
