If Mexico was predicting that in a few decades Mexicans would be less the 50% of the population of Mexico because of lower birth rates and the rise of Black and Asian immigration, would it really be surprising or worthy of ridicule if they expressed anger of fear over that and felt that somehow their demise was being orchestrated by the government? Would it really be because they must be racists who hate diversity? No, it's being normal.

In Austin, TX, Hispanic activists attack White businesses that have moved into traditionally Hispanic areas, but it is celebrated for attacking gentrification and preserving the ethnic character of the area. That of course if fine and noble and certainly not driven by any racist attitudes. Or I suppose when traditionally Black neighborhoods in the LA area became majority Hispanic and Blacks were driven from those neighborhoods they were supposed to celebrate that as one of the beauties of diversity?

Which race or ethnic group would cherish the idea of being replaced or becoming a minority in the country that wouldn't exist if not for them?
