By intentionally sabotaging your efforts to follow through on many of your good intentions, God ensures that you feel misunderstood and hopelessly frustrated in your efforts to fully bond with other humans. This is because He doesn’t want other humans to be your all in all—that’s His role. He doesn’t want other humans to be the ones who you feel fully accepted by, so He programs them with a bunch of hypocritical repulsion which ensures that they will never hold you too closely.
