Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (presumably): A large part of global warming is caused by cow flatulence. I'm introducing a bill where cows have to take Beano every day. Why hasn't anybody thought of this? It's such a simple-minded solution!
Jim Acosta (presumably): Awesome!
Mick Williams:

Since leaving the Paris Agreement, a large part of global warming is caused by a Fart.
You put it in the White House, Dick Willy.
I read that there's some seaweed that you can feed to the cows, and suddenly they don't have flatulence any more.
Everybody, except retarded nitwits, say climate change nowadays. Are you a retarded nitwit, Mickie Willy?
I can't remember what it was for, but in the 1990s there was a commercial where the spokesman talked about cow flatulence provided significant amounts of methane into the atmosphere. As such, he had the idea of lighting cow farts before the methane had a chance to dissipate.
By the way, I don't know who's actually done the calculations, but I don't see where methane release, particularly counting just that from cattle, is going to be a huge issue as far as greenhouse gases are concerned. It does break down into water and carbon dioxide, even without combustion, but not nearly as much as the carbon dioxide being exhaled by the cow/bull to begin with. Thing is, if your cattle have enough grass to eat, then that grass will take in and use that carbon dioxide, so cattle are pretty much carbon neutral. Has anyone really proven otherwise?
Now, that doesn't mean other aspects of the beef and milk industries don't add even more CO2 , making it add a net of carbon into the atmosphere . . . but really, there are far bigger issues, relating across all industries, and the irresponsible methods that use energy so inefficiently that it's impossible not to be a heavy polluter. And never any thought given to any aspect except direct cost now.
Oh, Mickey boy again. Well, I'll tell you this, cow farts are more awesome than your cartoons. And the shit they produce is at least useful in the garden - unlike what you produce.
@Jocasta
She's young, smart - and pretty. A lot of them seem to notice.
Sure she pisses them off: she is unapologetic and does not surrender without a fight like Dems have done for decades. Their usual BS does not work on her and it is working them up to a fever pitch.
And as usual, they misconstrue her argument, because they have no alternative proposal. The Republican party is nowadays hollow: apart from identity politics and getting as many tax cuts for their donors they literally have nothing to propose.
We're in real trouble, Mick - and by 'we,' I mean the species. And that rank stupidity is your idea of funny. Your kids and grandkids won't be laughing. Aw, hell, no one laughs with you even now.
ETA: Cow farts don't worry me; methane clathrates do.
I see Mickey Moron's aping Dave Barry, now (I'm a Dave Barry fan and he once wrote a funny column about giving livestock Beano).
The thing is is that the general concept is not a bad idea; Adding stuff to the feed to reduce gas emissions from livestock (from either end of the body).
Why is Rep. Ocasio-Cortez a reporter, here? Wow! What a versatile career-woman! Intelligent. Progressive, hot and can juggle several jobs at once! WHATTA WOMAN! Mick just made her more awesome!

@Jocasta
She's young, smart, sharp, pretty, a Latina, VERY Progressive, a strong woman who never backs down and she's proposing stuff that gives "Big Fossil" the vapors (Cow vapors? Moo.) which would also boost the economy and give everyone good jobs.
The GOP wants people poor, miserable and living in a dystopia run by Fossil Fuel Tycoons, Religious Nuts and Russian Oligarchs (all of them very white, very cis, very hetero and very male)....Desperate people are easier to deceive, manipulate and control.
This isn't such a crazy idea, actually. Not the 'feed cows Beano hurr durr durr,' that's just Prick being his usual obtuse self. But it's been found that adding seaweed to their feed adjusts their digestion and reduces methane buildup, as Swede points out.
But here's what galls me - the right admits that bovine methane is a problem, by dint of not denying it, but doesn't offer any solutions. What, I wonder, would they do to fix the problem? Fall to their knees and mumble into their hands, pretending that their wishes upon various stars actually do something?
The reason the right is so obsessed with Alexandria Occasio Cortez is that unlike other Democrats, who cower in terror at being called socialist, she gleefully owns it, forcing them to provide arguments as to why Norway is the equivalent of the Soviet Union. They can't. In many ways, she's the mirror of Trump. She knows how to use social media, she doesn't care what her party establishment thinks is safe, she just says what the dedicated activists think, and she's not a politician by trade. Although Cortez is by far more civil than Trump.
@checkmate :
It's telling how all those climate change "skeptics" are freaking out so much about the "industrial style cow farming is partly responsible for climate change" thing. They always say how thoroughly they studied the issue and now they are surprised by something that has been part of the issue for decades? Funny, isn't it?
This time last year, much of Britain was under thick snow due to the severe cold front known as the 'Beast from the East'. Just 72 hours ago, much of Britain experienced an early summer: with temperatures of over 20°C in London, and shown by these people making the most of such on the coast of Wales:

Summer in Winter ? You have some explaining to do, Dick Willy.
Confused?
