What Is Demon Possession?

Demon possession is the seizure of a human being by a demonic being to such a degree that the individual is controlled in whole or in part by the demon (see Matthew 8:28-32, Mark 1:23-27, Mark 7:24-30, Luke 9:37-42).

The person who is demon possessed can manifest demonic qualities one minute and then be back in his right mind the next. The disease known as schizophrenia could, in certain individuals, be demon possession. This could be the case in instances where the person may speak in different voices and act in bizarre ways. One minute he could be a nice, calm, normal individual, and the next minute he could rage, foam at the mouth, and speak in an entirely different voice, blaspheming God.

In certain instances, demon-possessed individuals hear voices--voices that tell them to kill somebody, commit suicide, or undertake various kind of sins. Such people may have an uncontrollable lust. They may have an uncontrollable desire to have harm done to themselves. Masochism and sadism and other perverted sex practices are, in many instances, the result of demon possession.

Demon possession can be manifested in many ways. But the goal of demons is to debase, defile, and ultimately destroy a human being who is made in the image of God. That is what Satan wants to do: Attack God by destroying people who are precious in God's sight. However, people who serve Satan--the satanists and devil worshipers--will eventually be destroyed by that which they worship.

It is interesting to note that those who volunteer to serve Satan--the fortunetellers, spiritists, witches, warlocks, and satanists--are themselves consumed by Satan. Not only will they share Satan's ultimate punishment by God, but they will be tormented and debased by Satan himself prior to final judgment.

I saw a Big Foot, so it cannot be a myth. Many of today's "Christians" do not believe the Holy Bible which states that many so-called mythical creatures exist. Some of these creatures could be animals, but many of them are in what might be called the "supernatural" realm. Nebuchadnezzar was turned into a wild beast apparently for seven years, covered in thick, long hair and having long claws. Who knows, maybe Nebuchadnezzar wasn't the only one? His fate was decreed not by an angel per se, but by a "watcher," a holy one -- another "mythical creature". While it is okay to be doubtful about things that most likely do not exist, and it is natural to desire proof of said creatures, if such creatures exist -- they exist. We are to preach the gospel of Christ to every creature. Why was the command to every creature? Shouldn't it have been to every human? While I am pretty sure that verse is not a reference to creatures who cannot understand the gospel, it is certainly a directive for us to preach to all the different kinds of creatures with understanding. Does that include a Big Foot? We do not know what Big Foot are, are they man, or beast, or like Neb. a man who God turned into a beast? What if they are like the watchers, or the "nephelim", half man, half "son of God"? Or, like so many others, would you doubt the Word of God too?

Secularism has imposed its godlessness on America’s youth for the last three-quarters century, devastating public education and higher learning. American education has collapsed under the weight of Secularism. Moral and academic anarchy now reign. Something curious has happened to those who define themselves as anti-fascist, who in reality are the fascists.

Faith Driven Consumers #fundie www1.cbn.com

An estimated 95 percent of Faith Driven Consumers will not buy tickets for Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" this weekend because of the "exclusive gay moment" in the film.

That figure is the result of a survey of 6,700 people, completed by the Faith Driven Consumer organization. And many of those surveyed are also less likely to spend money with Disney as a whole.

The FDC's numbers suggest personal faith matters to 41 million Americans who spend $2 trillion annually.

Chris Stone is founder of Faith Driven Consumer.

In his release of the group's findings, Stone said, "Disney's decision to celebrate LGBT individuals with an 'exclusively gay moment' in Beauty and the Beast is a testament to the LGBT community's success in advocating for and achieving high-profile recognition of their worldview."

"Faith Driven Consumers understand the LGBT community's goal for inclusion by Hollywood and Corporate America," Stone continued. "For FDCs this is not homophobia or bigotry. There are many complex realities in the world that Faith Driven Consumers simply do not wish to have addressed with their children via entertainment, especially in a family movie."

"Entertainment broadly has become highly politicized and sexualized, meant to inculturate audiences," he said. "This excludes Faith Driven Consumers who are left with an increasingly limited number of acceptable entertainment options for their families. They want entertainment to remain just that—entertainment."

That same survey revealed 58 percent of Faith Driven Consumers think the motivation behind Disney's decision to include an "exclusively gay moment" in "Beauty and the Beast" was "to normalize homosexuality."

A little more than 50 percent of Faith Driven Consumers say Disney does not meet their entertainment needs well.

Franklin Graham #fundie www1.cbn.com

"America is in critical condition," according to evangelist Franklin Graham.

Graham delivered that warning in Florida hours before Tuesday night's State of the Union address.

At a prayer rally in Tallahassee in front of Florida's state capitol, Graham said, "America is being stripped of its biblical heritage and God-inspired foundations."

He warned that "we've got maybe one election left" to preserve America's liberties, or "the game will be over."
