Asteroid

When scientists announced the discovery of a “golden asteroid”, their interests were in how this could open up the field of asteroid mining. But people who look to the heavens for more spiritual rewards saw different, more Redemptive implications for the discovery.

Discovered in 1852, Psyche 16, as it is named, is relatively close, parked in orbit between Mars and Jupiter. The asteroid is exceptional in several respects. It is one of the ten most massive asteroids in the asteroid belt with an average diameter of approximately 140 miles, making it the most massive M-type (metallic) asteroid discovered to date. Psyche is so massive enough that its gravitational effect on other asteroids can be observed, which enables scientists to measure its mass. The results indicated that Psyche was incredibly dense. Unlike most other asteroids that are rocky or icy bodies, scientists think the M-type (metallic) asteroid 16 Psyche is comprised mostly of metallic iron and nickel similar to Earth’s core.

What it’s worth

Scientists at NASA are now planning a mission that will be the first stage in a program to mine the minerals of Psyche 16. Targeted to launch in August of 2022, the Psyche spacecraft would arrive at the asteroid in early 2026, orbiting for 21 months to do a complete study of the space rock. This will be NASA’s first mission to a metal planet. This may sound fantastic with the astronomical costs far outweighing the results however experts estimate the asteroid’s worth at $700 quintillion. For those who have never had a quintillion dollars, one quintillion is a one followed by 18 zeroes. To put that into perspective, it is feared that a sudden influx of such wealth could crash the global economy which is valued at a paltry $75.5 trillion.

This mission to Psyche 16 was intended as a first step in a larger initiative to mine the asteroid belt but several other missions are already underway. NASA’s OSIRIS-REx is orbiting an asteroid called Bennu, which has an estimated value of $700 million. The Japanese have sent a probe to another asteroid, Ryugu, with an estimated worth of $82.86 billion. Deep Space Industries and Planetary Resources each plan to mine the 2011 UW158 asteroid, worth up to $5.7 trillion.

Biblical interpretation

Rabbi Yosef Berger, the rabbi of King David’s Tomb on Mount Zion, was pleasantly surprised when he heard of the discovery. But his amusement turned to shock when he heard of NASA’s response which, he explained, did not relate to the asteroid’s place in the final redemption.

“The Bibles explicitly describes an astronomical phenomenon, the Star of Jacob, that will presage the Messiah,” Rabbi Berger said, citing a verse from the section of the Torah in which the non-Jewish prophet, Balaam, blessed the Children of Israel.

“Jewish sources, most notably the Zohar, describe stars and other things that happen in the heavens before the Messiah comes,” Rabbi Berger said. He suggested a reason behind this, referring to the copper serpent Moses was commanded to make as a cure for anyone who was bitten by a snake in the desert.

Moshe made a copper serpent and mounted it on a standard; and when anyone was bitten by a serpent, he would look at the copper serpent and recover. Numbers 21:9

“They were not praying to the snake, but when they turned their eyes upward, they were reminded to pray to heaven,” Rabbi Berger explained. “In the end-of-days, we will all be looking up at the heavens because of these stars. Some people will only be able to see gold and silver, or their own intellect and their own glory, while others will be looking for God.”

A promise of redemption

Rabbi Berger went on to explain that according to Jewish sources, the final Geula (redemption) will mirror the Exodus from Egypt. The rabbi cited a verse from the Bible in which God described the period of slavery in Egypt, while promising that the Jews will be rewarded with great wealth for their suffering.

And He said to Avram, “Know well that your offspring shall be strangers in a land not theirs, and they shall be enslaved and oppressed four hundred years; but I will execute judgment on the nation they shall serve, and in the end they shall go free with great wealth. Genesis 15:14

Just as the Jews left Egypt with great wealth, precisely as God promised, the period of the final Geula will be part of that same promise and will be marked by unprecedented wealth,” Rabbi Berger told Breaking Israel News. “Some of Israel took this gift and used it to make the Golden Calf. Others used it for the Tabernacle. We are blessed to live in a period of unprecedented wealth and are being given the same choice.”

Messianic implications

The rabbi suggested that this wealth and the potential for wealth that exceeds what is currently available on earth may suggest what form the final Geula will take.

“Some people mistakenly believe that the Messiah will result from a difficult process of suffering. That is not accurate,” Rabbi Berger said. He explained that if we do not merit the Messiah, the final redemption could come in a terrifying manner characterized by horrific wars, plagues, and natural disasters. The other possibility, the rabbi explained, is that the Messiah would be incredibly pleasant.

“This is what we call achishena,” Rabbi Berger said. “If we merit it, the Messiah will come before its appointed time in a gradual, drawn-out process accented by miracles. This is the Messiah that will be accompanied by heavenly signs, perhaps even asteroids made of solid gold.”

In a public talk given in Jerusalem this past Sunday evening, messianic expert, international speaker and Torah scholar Rabbi Mendel Kessin speculated about why the three countries hardest hit by the coronavirus are China, Iran, and Italy. Is it a coincidence? Or could it be Divine punishment?

Then I will begin to destroy your economy.” Kessin calls this “a measure-for-measure retribution that God is doing.”

According to Rabbi Mattiyahu Glazerson, the coronavirus is also connected to the common practice in China of eating live animals, a violation of one of the seven Noahide laws. Chinese people also commonly eat many animals that are Biblically unclean.

Kessin reflected on Iran in its role as an international sponsor of terror. “There are so many places in the world that are intensifying their evil,” he said. “At the same time, there are so many places in the world where evil is being punished.”

Iran appears to be collapsing. The government is shut down. The New York Times is reporting that there are at least seven government officials who have tested positive for the virus. Outside of China, Iran has the highest death toll from the virus.

“The two greatest nations contributing to the instability of the world are Iran and China. China is filled with thievery. There comes a time when God says, ‘Enough is enough, and since we are before the Messianic era, I’ve got to clean up the place.’”

But what about Italy? Outside of Asia, Italy currently has the highest number of people diagnosed with the coronavirus. Why might that be?

Kessin believes it’s connected directly to the Catholic church, which has been a breeding ground for replacement theology and anti-Semitism. “I believe Italy is some type of punishment for Christianity. It’s not Italy per se. It’s Catholicism. What Rome has done to Jews… they’ve been killing Jews for 2000 years. You would not believe the number of Jews who died because of Christianity,” he asserted.

Kessin also made the case that the Bubonic Plague, which began in 1347 CE and brought death to a third of Europe’s population, was Divine punishment for the Crusades when innocent Jews were viciously murdered by Crusaders.

Biblical Numerology Hints at Obama’s Destructive Role in the Messianic Process

Judaism holds that a name is a powerful aspect of a person’s identity. Gematria, a method of Hebrew numerology, is commonly used as a method to understand how one fits into the divine plan. A glimpse into what numerologists have said about US President Barack Obama may reveal some uncomfortable truths, or simply confirm what we already suspect.

Gematria is the practice of assigning each Hebrew letter a numerical value. Rabbis teach that calculations of the Gematria of Hebrew names and words reveal hidden layers of meaning by linking together words and phrases of similar or identical numbers.

Torah scholars Joel Gallis and Dr. Robert Wolf, who taught the Bible for almost two decades, are experts in making connections through numerology. They wrote extensively about Obama in their blog, Redemption 5768, during Obama’s first term, and many of their conclusions are still quoted by Jewish thinkers today.

Gallis and Wolf noted that Obama was destined for leadership since the Gematria of his full name, Barack Hussein Obama (??? ?????? ??????), is 501, equal to the Gematria of the word ??? (head, or leader). The type of leader he will be is revealed through another calculation: Obama’s first term was as the 44th president of the United States, and the 44th word in the Torah is ????? (and to the darkness).

Though he self-identifies as a Christian, his mother’s religion, their numerology of Obama’s name connects him to Islam, the religion of his adoptive and biological fathers. The Gematria of his full name is equal to the Gematria of the word ???????????????? (Ishmaelites), who are considered by most Biblical commentaries to represent Arabs and the world of Islam. The Gematria of Barack Obama, without his middle name (??? ??????), is 357, the same value as ????? (Koran), the holy book of the Ishmaelites.

Gallis and Wolf also found hints at Obama’s place in the Messianic process. At Mount Sinai, Moses prophesied about what would happen to Israel at the End of Days.

"For I know that after my death ye will in any wise deal corruptly, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the end of days; because ye will do that which is evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him through the work of your hands. (Deuteronomy 31:29)"

Moses predicted that evil would befall Israel as a result of their own actions (??????? ?????????). The Gematria of ??????? ????????? is 501, equal to Barack Hussein Obama, who was elected two times by over 70 percent of the Jews in America, despite his decidedly anti-Israel policies.

In the verse, Moses uses the word ???????? (and it will happen). The only other time this form of the word is used in the entire Torah is when an angel tells Hagar that she is with child and that she should call her son Ishmael (Genesis 16:11). The angel reveals the future of Ishmael:

"And he shall be a wild ass of a man: his hand shall be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the face of all his brethren. (Genesis 16:12)"

Despite calling for peace, Obama has fulfilled the prophecy concerning Ishmael’s influence in the world and his destructive role in Moses’ prediction of the end of days. Last month, Obama claimed at a speech in Germany that we are living in the “most peaceful era” in history. However, a recent study by Mida, a liberal Israeli current affairs and opinion online magazine, showed that 80 percent more people were killed in wars around the globe under Obama than under Bush.

The Gematria of Obama’s full name is also equal to the Gematria of the phrase ?? ???? ??? ??? (who by water and who by fire). This is the first method of divine retribution listed in the liturgy recited on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Gallis and Wolf claim this is related to Obama’s hubris as exhibited in Obamacare, his healthcare program. The president now decides who will receive healthcare, who will live and who will die.

Interestingly, the Torah teachers note that the Gematria of Obama’s name actually indicates that he is indeed very close to being the messiah – with one significant difference.

“The Gematria of Barack Obama ??? ?????? is 357, just one short of the 358 of Mashiach (Hebrew for messiah). But the ONE that is missing is Hashem, the Master of the Universe who is ONE. Without God on his side, he is nothing but a false messiah.”

President Obama has been in office for almost seven and a half years. While next year’s candidates campaign for votes, it is important to understand what happened under the last president in order to determine what is needed from a future leader. Gematria is a unique tool for presenting possible interpretations of modern events from a Biblical perspective.

As per other comments: I think when one states "Jesus is coming" one needs to be aware that the Muslim's also proclaim a "Jesus" "Christ" is coming, and so do the Catholics. They call him their "Christ", while the True Messhiach they call the Anti-Christ, i.e. completely opposite to how the Bible describes it! Yah'shua is the Name He was called by His talmudim, which in Greek is Joshua, and that translated into Latin is Jesus. We should be aware that Satan will obviously COPY the real-deal, in an effort to deceive! There's been an identity theft... the Jesus Christ of the Catholic church (see 1 Jn.2:18) is actually Heus Krishna (two gods of the heathens) and you can see this in the way he encourages "saint worship", worship of the goddess Diana (Mary), sun-god worship (Christmas); Oestre-worship (rather than YHWH worship in the real thing: Pesech), etc. Dan.11 teaches us that he will defile the Temple and do away with the daily sacrifices, flattering those who have violated / forsaken the covenant. This "Jesus" will tell the world he didn't die and isn't the son of Allah (God in Arabic) for Allah can have no son, and that Christians have been misled but that he will forgive them if only they turn and serve Allah. This Isa is the "star" of Islam's moon-god Allah. Many Protestant pastors are already signing up with Chrislam, bringing their churches back under the Pope & are joining Catholic (freemason) orders. So, please let's go back to Scripture and call the Biblical Yah'shua on His Biblical name and know Him by His Biblical role (sure, I also sometimes call Him Jesus, but knowing exactly Who I'm talking about)... get to understand He is the root of Dawid (the word for Branch/root is also the root for Nazareth where Yah'shua grew up), He is Aleph-Taw of Gen.1:1 - the Word of YHWH and the Wisdom of YHWH (Prov.8). Unfold His Word (Ps.119:130) so that we may KNOW our Elohim and firmly resist the false elohim & his abomination (Dan.11:32). Shalom. Chag Sameach!
