Almost everything you described (apart from the audible voice) I went through - actually, I forgot this until I read your story: there was once after a long 3hour debate (we argued Buddhist thinking - which he supports - vs Christianity), he paused and looked at me and said, "It's like you're Married to Jesus Christ." That took me by surprise - he GOT Christianity on some level - human marriage IS a reflection of our first covenant with Jesus.. and I said really quietly, "yes". And he just shook his head and said, "I don't want to marry Jesus." I remember sitting there with tears in my eyes, he was so near and yet so far! The agony was so intense! I mean, I feel sad when I think of friends or family members who are not saved, but that grief was different to this horrible feeling - and I knew it's because I wanted him so badly to be saved, not only for him, but so that I could stay with him. I wanted my way instead of God's way. God was telling me, this is not your job, walk away.

It Was a really dark time - I don't ever want to go back.

I sometimes still feel it in the pit of my stomach when I think about him, and it's what makes me not feel like eating or sleeping or going about life in my normal cheer. And I know it's a spiritual fight inside - but I don't want any more of it. It is getting better, it's not as bad as 2 months ago.

I am currently fasting (Matthew 17:21) to overcome a spirit of adultery - I have not committed it, but I have been getting unwanted advances from women I do not even know (I go down the street to a Taco Bell, and I get bothered by some lady working there). While I was fasting one evening, I saw a spirit that looked like a woman in a blue dress - this spirit has been following me everywhere, and I assume it is the reason for the problems. I told the spirit to leave, but it is stubborn. I felt the Lord tell me to keep fasting and to watch my thought life more - even innocent thoughts can cause problems.

I am under a bit of pressure right now from work/job, and this is making the situation all the more problematic. I don't know if anyone else has ever seen this kind of spirit, but this demon is a light blue color and looks like a woman. I am doing ok right now, but I just wanted some encouragement and any advice you folks might have.

No one is born gay or bisexual...there is no scientific proof of this. I know that is what the gay community says, but all the research for this has been disproven. In other words you have been lied too. If bisexuals or homosexuals were born this way..why are their ex gays? ex bisexuals?

Now, God does not make mistakes. He created man and he created woman. Never, never in His word does he condone or even hint that its fine to be homosexual, or lesbian, or even bisexual. And Sweetie, you and I don't have time to waste like we once did. So bluntly, you were NOT 'just born this way.'

You marked that you are a Christian. Its time to act like it. The days of pretending are over. You don't have the luxury to ponder which sin you want to participate in any longer. I advise that you repent and stop this silly pondering. Don't mock my God again with that "If I marry my boyfriend, in my whole life I will never have even kissed a woman." Christ Jesus did not die that awful death so you can say you are a Christian and come here wanting us to say...what? Do you think a one of us here would advise you to go on with this?

Time is too short. Its time to repent and get your heart right with God. What you need to do is repent and pray and get into that Bible. If you don't have one, there is Bibles right here that you can read. You and that boyfriend need to be praying together and studying the Word together and find a good Bible teaching church for the two of you, whether you end up marrying or not.

You've got to realize that an atheist's perspective is by definition irrational and not therefore subject to "rational argument".

What I mean is this: Atheism is a universal negative which is a logical contradiction...and to affirm a logical contradiction is irrational...therefore there isn't a thing in the world that you can say from a "human" perspective; because any argument you present will be filtered from a view that has irrationality as its very foundation.

What you can do however is to speak the word of God...let that word do God's work. It has been my experience that people forget what I said...but once they hear the scripture it gets into their head and heart and can really "nag" at them.

Your friend probably gets quite agitated when you start quoting scripture (I've had people come completely un-glued on me)...but that's a good thing...because it tells me that the Holy Spirit is doing His job of bringing conviction to a hard heart.

Therein lies the problem. You obviously spend much time in fantasy (TV, movies). If you spent half as much time in reading the bible as you spent watching fantasy, I don't think you'd have these ideas about aliens and such. Earth is the only planet in the world that can support life. Even NASA will tell you water is not found anywhere in space other than planet earth. No life can live without water.

What would worry me are not the games themselves, but feeding your child's interest and involvement in the whole anime genre. It leads (and is designed to lead) to a lifelong preoccupation with Japanese cartoon culture, which is totally amoral. Eventually (and sometimes it doesn't take very long), this leads to preoccupation with manga and hentai, which are aimed at older kids, and which often involve the vilest pornography imaginable, including cartoon child pornography, which is enormously popular in Japan. Even in the "mainstream" anime world, the occult and, very specifically, homosexuality are treated as normal, acceptable parts of life.

Well of course the bibical response is if we follow what God says to do and wait to have sex until marriage this wouldn't even be an issue. This cancer is caused by a STD. I got hands laid on me by a minister and church and I felt a power like a lightning bolt kind of. It sunk into my head and I wondered has anybody else felt this.... and is this God's power. I know it sound like a silly question but I need to know.

I was sitting in my chair and the lady went to get some oil and she put it on my head and laid hands on me because demons spirits was telling me to kill myself and they wanted me to speak against God but I wouldn't do it. then I felt something shout through my head like a power or something. Only God knows for sure if the baby would have lived or died, God could have healed the child in it's mothers womb if it was his will. It's not up to man to decide if an unborn baby lives or dies, it's up to God to decide.

Your friends can be forgiven for killing their unborn child if they accept Christ as their Lord and savior. Pray that they do.

No there is no extra-terrestrial life out there when one believes in the Bible.
God created the world in 6 days, stars and planets on day four and their
purpose was to mark the seasons. The world is only 10,000 yrs old, tops.
Life did not evolve over billions of years, therefore there was no time for
life to evolve on other planets and God gave life.

Come judgment day the entire universe will be rolled up like a scroll and
melt away. In one day, everything will be gone. Did Jesus go and start
life on another planet, did He die on another planet, is not one messed
up creation not enough for God to deal with? Come judgment day all those
other people will be judged with us? Or just perish?

I believe in a young earth, this planet is the center of the universe, not

everything else goes at the same time. God has His hands full with us,

The theory of evolution's greatest enemy is death. They hope to explain life, but I would like to hear them address the reason for death! Now where - outside of the bible, are they going to find evidence that any have lived beyond the 70 or so years we seem to have? And where in those 70 years has anyone seen this spontaneous eruption of some evolved attribute which we do not yet have? I would wake up every day and thank God for His beautiful green sky.

You are attempting to naturalize a supernatural God. The Bible says the wisdom of man is foolisness to God. I assume God knows far better what color the sky is than fallible, imperfect men do.

God creates Earth, Man, Animals, etc. in one week. Yet the Book makes no mention of the dinosaurs. Perhaps they could be included under the classification of animals, but even if that is true there is still a problem. From what we can tell, dinosaurs existed 230 million years ago, while humans have only existed for 200,000 years. So how could both have been created in the same week?

Here are some possible explanations I have come up with. I don't necessarily believe these either, but they would fix things.

1. Satan created the fossils to cause controversy over the Bible's credibility.

2. The fossils are actually no more than bone like rocks.

3. A week span during the creation of Earth was much longer than what we now record as a week. For example, perhaps each day then would be equal to 32 million years by how we measure time and after that, days became the length they are today.

4. Scientists who study fossils are wrong in their calculations and the dinosaur fossils are indeed no older than human fossils.

So what do you guys think?

We are not evolving, in fact we are de-volving - getting less and less perfect, living shorter lives.

The origin of life is a matter of history; history can only beknown by eyewitness accounts. The Bible is the recorded eyewitness account provided by the Architect of the universe, the Creator of all life.
The Bible isn't in conflict with observable science but is consistent with it. It's the history book of the universe. It thells us about the origin of life and the origin of death. Since we all eventually will face death, the answers in the Bible, authored by the Creator, should be of prime interest.

Is there any explosion that produces order? Does a terrorist bomb create harmony? Big bangs cause chaos. How could a Big Bang produce a rose, apple trees, fish, sunsets, the seasons, hummingbirds, birds, animals, trees, all with their own eyes, nose and mouth?

If you empty your garage completely of any material whatsoever, and wait 10 years, see if a Mercedes will evolve. If not, try waiting 20 years, or 10,000 years! Nothing.

I believe the real, observable, testable science reinforces what the word of God says! There is no conflict. It's only when you get into unproven, untestable, unobservable theories that there is even an issue.

What were God's intentions in punishing Job? Well, first of all, God wasn't inflicting the punishment...Satan was. However, if you'll notice, Job was sitting pretty until God mentioned him to Satan...and then the problems for Job began.

Okay, God didn't punish Job, but He allowed Satan to.

Satan isn't omniscient, so he may not have even been aware of Job...but since God brought up Job as an example of a righteous man, He opened Job up for the events that unfolded.

Sounds like God is pretty mean, huh?

...but, He isn't. God is omniscient, and He knew the end result: Job's restoration. So, what does the book of Job tell us, then? Why include it in the Bible at all?

Chick tracts hit sinners right between the eyes with their sin. It also hits the saved right between the eyes with their sin. Those who do not want to conform to God's will, will always despise them.

Question: If they bring people to salvation, who else despises them? Satan.

And, yes, there were unicorns in the middle east before Christ's advent. But what the unicorn is is still up to debate.
