Girls complain that they can’t get a boyfriend but they’re also the same girls who advocate for the #MeToo movement. #BelieveAllWomen is ruining 21st century dating.
Very accurate.

The table in the image is excellent, and I completely agree. The actual tweet, however?
If you think women finally feeling comfortable enough to accuse abusers, and people actually taking such accusations seriously, is a bad thing then I have no idea how you think women should respond to sexual harassment and abuse. I would think that the Me Too movement falls under several of the points in the table under 'Good Feminist', i.e. points 1, 3, 5, 6, and 7. 2 as well, if you specify autonomy. In fact, the only point it doesn't directly pertain to is 4, 'Men are allies', because it's specifically about victims of direct action from bad men voicing their experience.
Then again, I'm a dude and I'm thrilled about the whole thing, so maybe point 4 is covered too. I direct you to the esteemed Mister Elba.
It's only difficult if you're a man with something to hide.
I'm also 100% OK with the table.
And for #metoo preventing dating, well, "mieux vaut être seul que mal accompagné(e)". Better be alone than with a bad companion.
Yeah, seconded or thirded or fifthed or whatevered with Happy Atheist. I didn't understand why this was here at first, until I scrolled up to the tweet. (I always scroll down to the image at first, guess I'm just a visual monkey like that.)
Having a support network to finally nail sexual abusers is a good thing, and has no bearing on finding a partner. And if it did, then would you really want that particular person anyway? Anyone who dumps a woman for supporting rape and assault victims should be curbed anyway, they're clearly not worth the time.
We can care about education, healthcare, suffrage, birth control access, and general autonomy for women around the world and ALSO care about women in pop culture deserving the same respect as any other woman, body hair standards being absolute bullshit (not shaming women who WANT to shave or need to shave for health reasons, but being REQUIRED to shave or risk being considered disgusting and unhygienic and possibly a lesbian is stupid), and not being denigrated as 'bossy' when we stand up for ourselves or hold positions of authority when men in the same situation are "leaders" and "strong".
Cuz, you know, people are capable of caring about more than one cause at the same time and just because one cause is less dire than the other, that doesn't mean it's not worth caring about or pursuing. If that were the case, nothing would matter more than solving world hunger and stopping all wars and I wouldn't have time, energy, or money to devote to the Trevor Project or the Flint water crisis or my local animal shelter or any one of a number of important causes that are less immediately important than keeping Syrian kids from being bombed to death.
Confused?
