The great irony is that immigrationists point to the great waves of past immigration to whom the adulteration and ideological misdirecting of the nation can be directly traced, the Germans, the Irish, the Italians, the Scandinavians, and the Jews, and using them to justify the beneficial nature of the current wave of Central American, Asian, Arab, and African immigration.

Sorry, the Irish, Italians and Jews all faced rabid opposition when large groups of them immigrated. Are you unfamiliar with the phrase often seen 150 years ago, "No Irish need apply?" How about the claim that all the Italian immigrants were part of The Black Hand?
More recently, look at the rejection of the 908 Jewish refugees on the SS St. Louis who, in 1939, were turned away from both Cuba and the US. Then look into the legal restrictions on the number of Jewish Displaced Persons, rescued from the concentration camps in Eastern Europe who were allowed to immigrate into the US following WWII.
It's been the same ever since the Mayflower: "now that we're here, we need to keep out everyone else."

Aside from the economic effects (which studies show immigration actually helps boost) and the cultural effects (jazz, blues, rock, and even country owe their very existence to non-WASPs). Genetically, a population is stronger when there is more diversity. By trying to "purify" the country you are actually holding it back. There is ZERO negative consequence of diversity (cultural and genetic) and only positive outcomes from it. There's a reason "inbred" is an insult.
