Even if what you said about them "not being considered as dinosaurs" is true, despite the fact I've heard a number nature programs refer to them as the last living dinosaurs or such, that neglects to address the facts that we've found these other dinosaurs that were around millions of years before we were and that we can prove it.

Also, Komodo dragons are not venomous, their saliva is simply toxic due to the amount of rotting meat in their mouths.

The primary difference between science and religion is the inability to change dogma when presented with new facts.
Komodo dragons were thought to have an active bacterial flora that caused delibitation in prey. Recent research has shown that the Komodo (and more interestingly most lizards) are venomous, whereas before this research it was thought that only the gila monster (and its close relatives) were poisonous among the lizards.
Maybe Three Crosses was better read then you had guessed.

Dictionaries are often terrible places to get scientific definitions, but even mirriamwebster.com says:

1. Reptiles are not dinosaurs. Not even descended directly from dinosaurs. They just have a common ancestor. Sort of like us and apes, although fundies get that wrong too.
2. Komodo dragons are not venomous. Their bite can kill you, but odds are anything that eats rotting meat then bites you would infect you with SOMETHING.
3. Anacondas? Are ridiculously shy and lethargic for their size. You'd be more likely to die of malaria in the Amazon than of an anaconda attack.
4. Unless this was an intelligent anaconda and decided to eat you to reduce the amount of idiocy in the world.
Specifically, a dinosaur is defined, not merely by having limbs placed directly under its body, but by the specific adaptation that allows that arrangement of femur and pelvis- to wit, a purforated acetabular crest. This arrangement, whether ornithiscian or sauriscian, is how we define what a dinosaur is.

(1)Not a dinosaur, because it doesn't hold its legs under its body and lacks warm blood. Dinosaurs were endothermic--at least theropods. Sauropods may have been. The physical differences between crocodillians and dinosaurs are profound. To give the devil his due, a crocodile is more closely related to dinosaurs and modern birds than lizards and snakes...which is still not very.
(2) The Komodo dragon is a lizard. It is ectothermic and has a sprawled gait. The skeletal differences between lizards and dinosaurs are pronounced, and the few reasonably physically intact specimens verify that their internal arrangement differs. The fact that they are venomous is irrelevant. Venomous species are found in virtually all major animal taxa. There are venomous mammals and birds.
(3) The snake is far closer to a lizard than it is any other mammal. An anaconda is as closely related to dinosaurs as we are.
They aren't considered dinosaurs for the same reason mammoths, elephants, and skunks aren't--because they're not dinosaurs.

Dinosaurs were initially thought to be lizards. Unfortunately they do not show lizard like characteristics. They are more than likely to be "warm blooded". I.e Totally smegging different.
Just to point something out, Komodo Dragons have lately been thought to produce toxic chemicals when they bite creatures as well as harbouring virulent bacterial strains. Otherwise, this guy has a complete and utter misunderstanding of evolution, as pretty much everyone who doesn't believe in it does.
