@Bastethotep
Thank you. It’s very awesome.
Thus “Eve” has connotations of living, life, beginnings, DEITY and even the serpent of Eden who, while equated with evil in the Bible is also a symbol of wisdom and enlightenment.
In the Dharmic tradition, it is also the force and Deity known as Kundalini, which resides in the spine and can be awakened via opening up the Chakras (the energy centers in the body).
If one looks at Orthodox, Esoteric, and Gnostic takes on the myth of “The Fall”, it has both positive and negative interpretations that may be equally true (interpretation of holy writ can have multiple layers of interpretation which, while sometimes varied and occasionally opposite meanings, can be equally true depending on what angle you look at)….
* The Fall can mean.…
** The Human species evolving the ability to reason to understand Right & Wrong but be prone to doing wrong, hence Sin and Karmic De-merit.
** The Feminine in the form of Sophia (‘Wisdom’) enlightening humanity but getting kicked out of Eden by The Demiurge who pretended to be Deity.
** The Atman (The Divine Higher Soul) falling from Brahman (The Divine) and incarnating as a JivaAtman (a single soul), subject to Samsara (Reincarnation).
….I think the Dharmic and Abrahamic (especially Christian) traditions should go together and can work together synergisticly. I can see Christianity as a Universalist Faith of All Faiths (It’s a sort-of Judeo/Zoroastrian/Dharmic/Islamic/Phoenician/Confucian/Taoist/etc sort of thing) that can act as “Hinduism for The West”….A Judeo-Vedic-Baha’i.
Frummerism is primitive, simplistic, authoritarian, literalist, bigoted, repressive and stupid.
