[On why he doesn't have a job.]
I'm not real motivated to EARN right now. My screwed up country imposes regulations that say I have to participate in PUBLIC INSURANCE (ie. social security). Jesus specifically commands that we not 'save up for tomorrow' (which is the whole premise of this program) and the bible overall tells me not to put my security in society AND to avoid the appearance of evil.

Which may just be the absolute worst advice anyone can ever give another person, group, or nation. Hello, poverty!
He's refusing to work because he's a conservative and therefore would rather leech than pay taxes?
Further proof that while most conservatives are not a******s, most a******s are conservatives.
Why doesn't he take it out of his tithe and call it charity to those of us who accept our old age security cheques?
I mentioned that to him glytpo - his response
Dear spewer of presumptuous hate:
I work with a group called 'bread of life'. We try to help people who can be helped and actually TAKE TIME to try to get to know them personally.
What most people need isn't a handout. If they are in need, the first thing they need is friends. The government doesn't provide that usually. Just...process forms etc.
I choose to use all I have to try to help the poor..instead of filtering it through our WONDERFUL GOVERNMENT! I can't expect you to think that clearly. You aren't in Jesus. Sorry. Yeah I'm a horrible mean guy. Yeah..whatever.

He may use what he has to help the poor, but I'm guessing that's not much, since he DOESN'T HAVE A JOB.
What we need is a system in which people who don't want to pay taxes don't have to, on the condition that people who refuse to pay don't use any government services. You don't want to pay taxes? That's fine, as long as you don't drive on tax-funded roads, don't put your kids in tax-funded schools, don't walk on tax-funded sidewalks, don't expect the tax-funded sanitation department to pick up your trash, and don't expect the tax-funded police or firefighters to help you, should you become the victim of crime or fire. If this system were in place, we would see how committed these people REALLY are to "liberating" themselves from taxes.
The real test will come when his mom throws him out of the house, and he needs (tax-funded) government support. Or, perhaps Magic Sky Daddy will come back and rapture him into heaven before then?
These damn lazy conservatives, they always have some lame excuses for not working. Jesus said so or the rapture is comming.
Whatever. They are all just welfare queens, driving fords and chewing bad tobacco, with 6 guns to a family that the government has to support.

It exists, they're called "gated communities". Privatised security, because they don't mind paying double if they don't have to share.
OK, so maybe that wasn't the brightest of ideas I just posted. Are gated communites really completely free of government services, with NO tax-funded infrastructure? If so, scratch the plan, since conservatives are generally so wealthy that they wouldn't mind. Robert probably would, though.

How do they get their water? Gas? Electricity? Who pays for the various infrastructures to provide these services?
Who puts out fires in these gated communities when they occur? Who investigates crimes that happen there? (Rent-a-cops? Not bloody likely!)
How do people get to and from the gated communities, and who pays for the surrounding roads, street lighting, traffic lights, the infrastructure for the above services to buildings in which they work, and so on?
The bottom line is that if you live in modern society, your life is dependent on an infrastructure built, maintained, and protected by taxes. There is absolutely no way around it.

oh, for christ's sake you moron! One day, believe it or not, you will be old and/or sick and you will NEED social security! GET OVER IT!!
(sorry, what was I thinking, the rapture's going to fucking come, isn't it?)
@NezuChiza:
Bet he doesn't mind cashing his unemployment checks, though, or living off those who DO work for a living.
Why would he? He's just emulating Jesus.
Confused?
