If you are shot, who do you blame, the bullet or the person who pulled the trigger? And which do you think these women are closer to? For me, the answer is unquestionably that they are like the bullet. Women are not capable of independent thought, so they cannot really be held responsible for their actions. All traditional societies have recognized this and have held the father or the husband responsible, while of course giving them the authority they needed to guide women’s behavior. Modern women can no more be blamed for their behavior than a spoiled toddler can be blamed for throwing a tantrum.
It is the men in modern culture who are fully responsible for the horrible culture that causes women to misbehave. If men came to their senses, they could instantly revoke women’s vote and enforce basic rules of decency including monogamy. It wouldn’t take long before women learned to behave in a civilized manner. So don’t blame the women.

Oddly enough, I agree with you 100% in the most literal sense. Some anthropologists actually say that gender relations in prehistory were actually a bit more egalitarian.

How can this be remedied? Why, women should only have sex with incel men, who would then cease to be incel. It's just one dilemma after another. My wife, rest her, was one of the most brilliant minds I've ever encountered. She was scientifically inclined, had an encyclopaedic knowledge of human anatomy, could outwit anyone I can think of (including me, needless to say) and was one of the most independent thinkers I've ever met.

No, all traditional societies realized that without effective birth control, no man could ever know if he was raising his own kids. The "solution" was for men to keep women in a cage so they couldn't mess around with other men. Now that we have effective birth control, that's no longer necessary, but it will take another half century before the attitudes of our grandparents have faded.
