"In Minnesota, as elsewhere, the libs have framed it as: "Vote NO. Don't take away the right to marry." Which of course is an utter lie. The right to marry already exists and will not be changed whatsoever by refusing to extend it to homos. So it's not about "taking away" ANYTHING. It's about expanding the definition of "marriage" to the point that it's meaningless, and forcing a secular definition of that institution upon a religious community that refuses to accept it."

Show me anywhere, in the above link, where the word 'Marriage' is. Or even the words 'God', 'Jesus', or 'Creator'. Go ahead. If you can - certainly the word 'Marriage', then we'll listen. A warning, however: If you can't, then your 'argument' doesn't even have the right to exist, never mind your so-called 'culture'.
'Culture War'? It was over before it fucking started. Don't like the rights that the above document entitles gay people to marry - with the same legal rights & responsibilities as straight couples - then there's only one possible thing to do: rise up in armed insurrection against the government, take over the White House, Capitol Building & Supreme Court.
...but even then, should you 'succeed' [/snark], then tear up that nasty document which doesn't give you the legal right to not deny the same legal rights to those you just happen to not like. then you've just destroyed the one protection your very religion has, and it's open season on you & your ilk. Catch-22 can be such a cruel bitch when she wants to be, eh?! >:D
And that's the point, certainly of the Constitution: The government dosn't tell you who/how to worship, you fundies don't have the fucking right to even think about telling the govt. how to run the country. Otherwise, your so-called 'religion' doesn't have the right to exist.
