I've seen videos on youtube where stars admit to selling their soul to the devil in order to become successful and famous. I've also heard about musicians channeling spirits to get inspiration for their music and to help them perform. Michael Jackson for one. The way Beyonce talks about her alter ego Sasha Fierce definitely sounds like she's being possessed by a spirit that's performing through her.

In this country any celebrity who admits non-christian affiliation ( and isn't using it as a figure of speech in place of 'I had to sacrifice a lot and work my fucking BALLS off!')is subject to a 'witch hunt' and regular protests every time they go somewhere to do a show. Well, when I hear some performers I'm tempted to believe they did SOMETHING to become successes in the absence of talent, but as devils, demons and souls are fictional, it's patently something else.

I've seen where some people devote their entire lives to a mythical Jewish zombie, who most likely never existed, reversing all that he supposedly taught to meet their own ends, and to his "father", another mythical being, the most despicable tyrant in all humanities' imagination, whom they adore and worship - never getting a damn thing in return for all their efforts.

They used to show the same videos in my school when I was a teenager. Funny thing was that all the "stars" were people nobody had ever heard of... and they had no talent, and no knowlege of their supposed area of the media.
That and some "stars" were recycled as other "stars" in the same video.
It's called PIOUS FRAUD.

I've seen those videos as well, it's what we call a METAPHOR. Same thing with the "channelling spirits". Not meant to be taken literally.
Also, pop stars are idiots and will say anything. Best to pay no attention to their pronouncements.
