Very few people think killing babies is OK (I first wrote 'no people', but I know that's not true). But here's the thing:
Embryos AREN'T babies! Neither are fetuses! They can't feel pain, they can't feel fear, and if operating them away is murder, so is having a period. Egg cells are, after all, both alive and quite human.

Yes, because 2000 year old religious customs are very similar to a secular system of laws. Also, I love how Specter claims that "everyone" thinks themselves a moderate then utterly fails to realise the implications when referring to his own position as the moderate one.
@Kulgur
Prolifers have systematically rejected this argument every time, so you shouldn't bother. If you are attempting to turn their "abortion is murder" argument against them, then use evidence showing how criminalising abortion doesn't stop it and how comprehensive sex education and effective contraception is THE most effective method of lowering abortions. It probably won't work, given their habitual rejection of all contradictory evidence, but it has a better chance.

Everyone thinks in terms of themselves. Everyone judges the world from their own set of standards. Everyone believes themselves to be "moderate".
A fundamentalist thinks that leaving the poor to die, enslaving women, and subjugating all people to a hyper-extremist theocracy is a moderate view. Anyone who disagrees is labeled "far left".
In the end it is international consensus and the Constitution that defines "moderation". You are an "extremist" if you stray from that standard.
Yes, Specter, you are an extremist reactionary.
Fixed it for you.

"A pro abortionist thinks killing their own baby is a moderate view"
I challenge you to find anyone who has given a great deal of thought about the issue of abortion, without the illogical influence of their emotions, that would call themselves a "pro-abortionist". It is truly interesting how we use the terms pro-life and pro-choice. I personally think pro-choice is a more accurate description for pro-choice people than pro-life is for pro-life people. The term pro-life implies that the opponents are anti-life and no one can honestly say that the pro-choice supporters are anti-life. Hell, there aren't many people in general that are anti-life. However, the pro-life people can be categorized as anti-choice. They would like government to intervene and make decisions about a woman's reproductive health. The other interesting thing is that most pro-lifers, not all, tend to be pro-war and pro death penalty. They don't very often value you viable life existing right now as much as they value potential life.

An antifreedomist thinks enforcing his religion on everyone else is a moderate view.
But the constitution has a first amendment and a prohibition of religious tests so in the end you are full of shit.

Abortion doesn't kill babies anymore than eating a can of cashews causes deforestation.

"A proabortionist thinks killing their own baby is a moderate view."
I dare say that almost no one is pro abortion, but many are in favor of the right to an abortion. And, do try to grasp the fact that a blastocyst or an embryo is not a baby.

You do realize that The Constitution has a little thing called The First Amendment. It has nothing to do with "God's Law".

This sounds a bit DARVOish. Usually it's conservatives on the far right who claim that anyone who doesn't agree with them is a "liberal," which is usually code for "immoral atheist communist America-hater."
And don't you dare even insinuate that God's law and the U.S. Constitution are somehow equal laws over U.S. citizens.

Since the "gods law" and the constitution are both things that need to be interpreted you have solved nothing. Fuck, even you douchebags that believe in god can't decide what his law is.
