Quote# 859

whereas nobody has ever seen any sort of proof of the tooth fairy, God has and does reveal Himself to us. i personally have experienced many many many things that are beyond the explaination of science or other religions; God is real and i knowit because i have seen His work.

also, the toothfairy just does not make sense

I sense great irony in you.

Hey, the Tooth Fairy left me a computer game and a nice little "been nice knowing you" note for my wisdom teeth. BibleGod has done nothing for me.

So God has releaved himself to you? He didn't happen to leave his business card or something to get hold of him? Personal experience is hardly evidence... Please try again

Now I haven't actually seen a Tooth Fairy, I assume that is because she only comes at night. But I do remember getting loads of money from her.

Also, I have first hand experience of Santa and even have some physical evidence of his existance, in form of all the presents he has given directly to me.

I can't believe that any of your "many many many" examples ever happened, or that they were out of the ordinary.

"Oh god, thank you for making the sun rise again. Just like yesterday, and the day before, and the day before..."

At least the Tooth Fairy left me money. And the Easter Bunny left me chocolate eggs. And Father Christmas left me toys on December 25th.

What has this 'God' of yours ever given me? Less than jack shit.

But better be prepared to experience the ultimate betrayal as you realise that, as it's your parents/relatives who gave you that money/eggs/toys, the same thing can be said of religious 'belief'.

It's a process called growing up. only some refuse to. Don't they, beowulf?

Oh, oh, I have seen the Tooth Fairy! It was in a movie about Hogswatch. She had a castle made of teeth with many many many stories, where she kept the children's teeth safe.

What does His work look like? I visited my daddy's workplace when I was a kid. It had a giant wooden ship that you could climb around on. Did God's work have a wooden ship?

Like the gods, I suspect there are many tooth fairies. "Loads of money"? Shit, the most I ever got for a tooth was a fucking nickel, the cheap bitch!
And no, back in those days a nickel did NOT buy a kid a sack of candy big enough to kill himself with - it bought ONE goddamned Milky Way. About enough to rot out another tooth and get another nickel, ha.
Just my 5¢ worth.

Yes, the Great Lord Krishna has and does reveal himself to us,as he does with all who would be faithful and want to believe enough. just ask any Hindu who would speak from personal experience...

And while I won't knock your "personal experience," I won't take it as reason enough to believe it myself, just so you know.

Well, God has never revealed himself to me. I have however been touched by a noodly appendage.
