Except that's incorrect. I don't know if you're lying, or just ignorant of the facts
How can one help but be ignorant of the "facts" when you are making them up as you go?
but Paganism forces its way into Science class more than anything
This oughtta be good.
We have planets named Mercury, Venus, Mars, etc.
We have no planets named "Noah".
You do realize that seveal of the planets were named before christianity even existed and before the the oraltraditions of the jewish people were put to paper or became widespread.
While they were named after pagan gods, they were not named given those names in an attempt to undermine christianity, and when new planets were discovered in modern times they simply continued with the classical naming system. naming
We have elements named Neptunium, Promethium, etc.
And that means what? Naming conventions neither imply nor promote any sort of pagan beliefs and are in no way indicative of some sort of creeping paganism.
We have no elements named "Moses".
Once again, a vast amount of elements were named named at a place and time period where most of the people had never even heard of moses or any facet of jewish mythology.
Hatred of Theism fills the Universities, though.
Oh really? And your examples are what?
They force their hatred upon theism in no subtle way
Ok then, would you care to name and povide proof of a single univesity that, as a matte of policy, discourages or forbids it's students from holding any religious belief or attending religious ceremonies?
Moreover, niether atheism, non belief, or even antitheism is predicated on, o dependant to a hated of theists or theism. And paganism, being a theistic religion itself, certainly isn't
actually banging you on the head with a hammer
I don't think the word actually means what you think it does. People are not "actually" being hit in the head with a hammer.
in trying to make anti theism look like strength and victory
You do realize that pagans are theists, dpon't you? You must not, since you are asserting that universites are both pagan and antitheist as if those two were one and the same. You are just another casualty of the fundie culture of ignorance.
The religious fundamentalists dislike of higher education has nothing to whatsoever to do with any form of endemic anti-theism, but rather boils down to the fact that the better educated a person is the less likely they are to buy into fundamentalist dogma and sometimes even theism altogether.
Religious fundamentalism of any kind cannot allow it's followers to question it's dogma, because it's litealist positions cannot bear the weight of any amount of scrutiny, To the fundamentalits ignorence is strengh.
We know this because of team names.
Unless you live in a fantasy world where we have the Duke Blue Angels, the DePaul Blue Christians, the Arizona State Sun Angels, the Mississippi Valley State Angels, and the Wake Forest Screaming Jesus Men.
And what about the myriad of collage team names is indicative of pagan influence? If this is the evidence for your claim then you ae truly just grasping a straws.
But I live in the real world.
You must not, since you seem to be of the opinion that any institution that does not pander through overt displays of sectarian religiosity is inherently anti theistic in nature.
