Quote# 79462

Everyone starts life out in a body with corrupt DNA that causes deception in our thoughts. Only a few people were chosen by God to get our DNA changed later on in life. He started changing my DNA in 1984 and finished changing them on June 14, 2008. This took many commands to confess and repent of my sins and other things he wanted me to do. The whole object of this was to get my body in total obedience to his thoughts and power of light energy, which is who God is.

Doubting Thomas

This is what you get when you mix science with religious superstition. Obviously, DNA does not affect thought processes.

And where in the bible does it say anything about DNA? Why is it that no religious people ever knew anything about DNA until science discovered it?

Sad. I home this person's relatives and neighbors are keeping an eye on his moods.

"The whole object of this was to get my body in total obedience to his thoughts and power of light energy, which is who God is."

Just another "I know what God is thinking" moron.

...and now look at me, I'm beautiful!

...wait, I thought that the official Fundie stance was that evolution, and by extention DNA, was all a filthy filthy lie perpetrated by the Dibble to lead the flock astray?

Also, you fail biology forever.

You sure that wasn't radiation poisoning.

Might also want to go to a doctor....

It took god a long fucking time.

Too bad it is only a somatic mutation; or is that a good thing?

So DNA is taking kickbacks from Satan? I knew it!

Be careful folks, you wouldn't like him when he's angry.

"He started changing my DNA in 1984 and finished changing them on June 14, 2008."

I see, that would be when you started and stopped dropping acid? Oh wait, I get it, the gullible morons among us are now supposed to believe that you are now somehow better than they are. As porky Pig might say, "You are d-d-delu... You have deception in your thoughts."

So, uh, can I see samples, starting with 1983, and taken at least monthly for the next five years, and perhaps yearly up until 2008, and then monthly (again) until now? Y’know, just to verify this claim?

Oh, and I’d need some other independent source to verify that each sample is indeed yours. I trust you can provide that as well.

Changing DNA? Surely you can show us what your genome looked like both before and after this alleged change. Oh wait, you can't.

I don't understand why so few people understand that DNA only codes for proteins, nothing more. There is no "gene for sin", as he seems to be implying, because what protein could possibly affect morality? It definitely has nothing to do with sociopathy (and thus, brain chemistry) since everyone allegedly has it.

Now before you go on that our thoughts are deceived by our sins, let me point out that we KNOW that DNA only codes for proteins because we have seen it happen, using very, very powerful microscopes. Of course, there is a good chance that you just don't know what DNA is. This post does imply that you have some sort of mental illness, after all.

David B.

This is exactly what I've been asking for for forty years! Actual, physical, testable proof of God.

All we need do now is sequence the genomes of a few dozen fundie kids, then, as they grow, repeat the process and look for the indisputable evidence of God fixing the errors in their DNA.

Hooray, finally science will be able to demonstrate God's existence for a fact and we can all get on with praising his name and spreading the good news!

Okay, BJ, when can we start?
