The only reason you fundies won't debate we Atheists is fear. I.e. of being made to admit that everything you 'believe' is lies and bullshit. The Catholic & Anglican (Church of England) churches actually embrace Evolution and the Big Bang, but right-wing Fundamentalist Christian Creationist, Biblical Literalist/YECer preachers are too scared to speak out in fear of losing their power over others.

He might think that. I can possibly comment. Mayhaps in the US, but certainly not in just about every other civilised democratic, secular country. Particularly where religion is either a case of 'take it or leave it', or has no social impact whatsoever. Which is certainly most of Europe. Especially the UK. After all - and Casshiterides had better not read the rest of this paragraph if he knows what's good for him - our Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, the only one keeping Conservative David Cameron in power as PM, is an Atheist.

Certainly not those outside the US. Without the socio-political pressures, they're free to say what they want without fear of recriminations - or suspicions. Scientists can do their research, refining theories and present their proofs and not be considered pariahs. A far cry indeed from several centuries ago, when the Catholic Church had almost absolute power over Europe. But thank goodness for the Renaissance. Since 1609, religion has been losing it's grip on it's power over people. Thus the very secular society we live in today.
The US is experiencing the hopeless cries of despair as religious fundamentalism in America is impotently witnessing the inexorable march of secularism in every other country, and is wailing & gnashing it's teeth in denial of the same happening there. It's pathetic 'persecution complex', and more & more scandals exposing their clergy - to say nothing of it's P.R. disasters (Sarah Failin, for one).
More and more people are no longer afraid of the 'Fire & Brimstone' bullshit. More and more people are openly admitting their Atheism (George Clooney, Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie et al). Atheism's star is in the ascendant.
And the last few grains of religious power are slipping through the fundies' fingers.
The war is already won. This modern world that exists today, is as a result of science, not superstition. And every second that fundies live in this scientific world, taking advantage of all science has to offer (indeed, the very thing you're reading this on), makes them more the losers. The fundies just don't want to (or are scared to) admit it.
The more gaps are filled, the less relevant a 'God' is in peoples' lives. More and more are their numbers growing. And less & less are the voices of the religious being listened to.
Because they no longer have the right to be listened to anymore.
...what was that, Casshiterides (as well as Troll4Life, et al)? I'm sorry, but we Atheists can't hear you fundies over the sound of how awesome it is to be an Atheist: To be able to live our lives free of any & all superstitious bullshit - certainly religious clergy; To live our lives under the simple philosophy of 'Treat people as you would want them to treat you'. 'Commit acts of gratuitous kindness'. 'Be good for goodness' sake'.
I wouldn't like to be killed/harmed, nor have my property stolen/damaged, so why should I do the same to others?
As well as obey the laws of the land. Now what right does religion have to infect such a simple, straightforward, common sense philosophy with the vile disease of superstitious dogma & 'guilt'? None whatsoever.
Because religion has no right to tell we Atheists what to do.
And there's less than fuck all that fundies can do about it. In democratic, secular countries where Human Rights and Rule of Law is God. The US Constitution. The European Declaration of Human Rights. Freedom Uber Alles, bitches.
