Fundies keep making Satan sound better and better, don't they? :D

>We are in the world but not of this world
What the fuck does that mean?
When I was a church-goer, I was under the impression that it meant, "By being saved we're God's children, therefore, while we were born on earth, our true home is heaven."
They think of themselves as being stuck here and that "going home to Jesus" is what they're spending their entire life waiting for. As a result, they tend to demonize everything around them, so they can compare the "evil world" to how great heaven is. It's quite sad, really.
As #1178632 said, it's pretty much the same mentality as the little girl who fantasizes that she's really a princess and that one day her true parents will come to take her to their palace and buy her the pony/dresses/dolls collection she always wanted, except that unlike most little girls fundies never grow out of it. And of course, little girls don't ressort to mass suicide to "go home"...
@Doubting Thomas:
"And face it, the less you show of your body to your man, the more they'll be downloading porn on the internet. It's been proven in a study that more porn was downloaded in Christian red states than more liberal states."
Yeah, IIRC it was Utah that was the biggest consumer of internet porn: not despite the Mormons but because of them :P
