Luke 16:31
"But he said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.' "
"Moses and the Prophets" refers to the Scripture. Therefore, by Christ's words, the Bible is the best proof of Christianity. Christianity is true because the Bible says it is.

And I sayeth unto you; if I do not listen, yea, though it be writ unto a book, nor will I be persuaded though a multitude of fundies repeat it.
If someone "rises from the dead", that means he wasn't dead.
What does Moses, etc., have to do with it?
Your old God is dead, I beat him to death with a walking stick after I caught him trying to steal my television. I am your new God. This statement is true.
See ?? I said it's true so it clearly can't be false.
"But he said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.' "
How can you not see how obviously this is utter bullshit?
Erm, how exactly is "Moses and the Prophets" related to the "Scripture", and "the Bible", a term commonly used by Christians to refer to the New Testament?
I don't listen to Moses and the Prophets, but I'd sure as heck be persuaded (of something anyway) if somebody definitely intcontrovertably rose from the dead.
So, that logic fails and guess what, Jesus made a mistake. So much for a divine Being!
Wait a second here, the Bible wasn't created until after the death of Jesus, even Conservatives agree on this. So, why would Jesus talk about something (The formation of the biblical canon), that hadn't even occurred yet? It's much more likely something along the lines of "If they don't believe the stories about Moses, they aren't going to believe stories about me, even if I rise from the dead". Your interpretation is just bizarre.
I thought the abrahamic religions worked off a linear time scheme. This is so circular, he might as well admit to the eastern belief of samsara. The both go around, and around, and ...
The Bible says the Bible says the Bible is True. Therefore, it am the truthiness.
But when the officials of fift states say there was no widespread election fraud, the same fuckers question authority because it’s authority.

We know Hank is always right because Item 7 on The List says “Everything Hank says is right.”
The List is The Truth because it was dictated by Hank.
We know The List was dictated by Hank because Item 5 on The List says “Hank dictated this list himself.”
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
