What you mean armies that have better equipment (the SA80 is the most accurate service rifle there is, and the challenger 2 is secnd only t te leopard 3), or better training, the uk has one of the worlds best levels of training and certainly higher than the US, or a lower rate of friendly fire (in the 1st gulf war more British soldiers were killed by the US than the Iraqis)? Oh i see you mean compared to armies that maintain a higher level of overall effiencey for a far smaller military budget.

The British Army may be underfunded and ruled by health and safety bureaucrats more concerned with what comes out of the exhaust of a tank than what comes out the barrel but at least they know better than to kick themselves in the crotch.

You have to remember that in the feeble American mind, Americans are
exceptional and in a positive way and the rest of the world is shit, so what can you really expect?
USA is a country that spends more money on their military than the rest of the world combined, but Americans are still scared shitless and are terrified at the idea of trying the 9/11 people in New York. It's un-fucking-believable.
You have to understand that in an American mind, if any statistics is showing USA as not #1 it is only because the statistic is wrong, compiled by commies or Europeans (The same in their mind) or muslims or some other USA hater because every American KNOW that USA is #1 no matter what.
This crazy notion is becoming more of a problem for the world than Islamic terrorists!

The British military is quite a bit more hardcore than you think. Just ask anyone who went to the Royal Marines. Or the Special Air Service. Or anyone who went to Sandhurst. And don't think that the Dutch can't kick your ass. They will. All the united states military has is numbers and technology. The only bits of US military i like are the Rangers, Airborne and the Marines.

You dont know about the British SAS do you? Most special forces in the world are modeled after them and trained by the SAS or SAS vets. Much of the combat training the world uses comes from the SAS, including the basis of Krav Maga(the only martial art you need).
