I know many on this BB think
No, you think you know.
or should I say "hope" that FoxNews is a pro-Christian news organization
Any news source that takes a pro or con bias on any subject that falls within the scope of their reporting immedietly loses any and all credibility it may have had and is now gleefully skipping down the path of propaganda and/or ideological intractibility.
but the article from their website below leads one to think otherwise.
Wow... you really are that fucking arrogant, and myopic to boot if you think a single article, by a single writer, is or even can be considered representative of FoxNews in it's entirety.
Foxnews.com according to their poll
Fox News put a pool in the field and you want to hold them responsible because you don't like the result? I hate being in the position of having to defend FoxNews, but a poll represents data of the people who were polled, and not, as you seem to think, the policies or opinions of FoxNews themselves. Or would you have rather they lied about the poll results so that you get the answer you want to hear rather than the truth?
at best thinks the current law "may be inappropriate" which prohibits an athesist to serve in public office.
The current "law" barring atheist from serving is in appropiate, but further more it's not a "law" in the first place. Law like that were all invalidated by the 14th Ammendent and later struck down by the Supreme Court. The supposed "law" is not enforcible and not legal, and is only on the books because it's part of the state constitution and has not been formaly repealed and stricken, but it is not a law recognized by either State or Federal courts.
God never intended
What "god" may or may not have intended isn't a subject you can speak on with any authority since there is not written record on that subject and your "god" has never made his intentions clear on that matter.
I find it interesting that people whole claim to know what "god" intended always find that what "god" intended is in lockstep with that persons predjudices.
for a non-believer, homosexual, or females to enact laws and run this once great country
Last time I checked neither your "god", nor anyone elses "god" was consulted by the founding fathers when they drafted the constitution. In fact there is not a single invocation to, or mention of, any god in the entirety of the US Constitution. Nor do any of the extant works that purport to be the "word of god" or inspired by him so much as hint at, much less specifically refer to the US, it's system of government, or even the fucking continent it sits atop.
