Not in the least. Anyone who has read Genesis knows that man was created to be like God. That means Adam had all of the knowledge of God. Ancient man was a race of super geniouses. If you look at ancient Sumerian (the first archeologically known civilization) tablets, you will see maps of the solar system, accurate descriptions of planets we just visited in this last century, pictures of rocketships, accurate depictions of men in space suits and much more. There is even evidence that a ship of some kind had a collision many thousands of years in the past with one of the moons, and that is what caused it to go in a reverse orbit. Man was in space LONG before NASA. However, the bible also calls Satan the prince of the power of the air, so man is not the only thing that has been in space. Demons are also there. So, I don't see how believing the bible would be a problem for Christianity, no.

So... are you saying Ancient Sumerians were communists ? I always thought "Yuri Gagarin" looked like something that looked better when written in cuneiform. Or maybe not. Who knows. Now I have a headache.
Ancient man was a race of super geniouses.
1) Considering your spelling, you are not related to ancient man.
2) They were smarter than us, yet they didn't have planes, trains or automobiles.

Oh, I see, they were in space though!
There is even evidence that a ship of some kind had a collision many thousands of years in the past with one of the moons, and that is what caused it to go in a reverse orbit.
Citations please. Because I highly doubt that a man-made ship travelling at super-high speeds could overcome the angular momentum of even the smallest of moons.
That means Adam had all of the knowledge of God.
That must be why god forbid him to partake of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil .
Okay, now you're just making shit up. The bible never says anything like that, which means that you're either willfully mistranslating (hellbound) or woefully ignorant of god's word (hellbound).
Either way...you, my clueless friend, are utterly fucked.
Well, my first thought was "then why didn't they. . ." but you covered that, so my next thought is you don't know how to interpret traces of ancient cultures and you're listening to the wrong people about it.
As anything I might have said has already been said, I will add this...
However, the bible also calls Satan the prince of the power of the air, so man is not the only thing that has been in space. Demons are also there.
"I want to be on the ships daddy."
Dad said "No! You will BE KILL BY DEMONS"
And then foxmulder was a zombie.

Really? That's not what I remember reading in Genesis. God didn't create them to be like him; he didn't want them to eat the apple because they would become like gods. But even when they did eat the apple, they only "became as gods" because they gained knowledge of good and evil. There was no mention of any other kind of knowledge, much less super genius. Did you even read your own Bible?
And the rest of this paragraph is just nonsense. I have no clue what they're going on about.
So this is why the people who wrote the bible believed that illnesses were caused by demons or sin and houses could have leprosy. They were frickin' geniuses.
"However, the bible also calls Satan the prince of the power of the air, so man is not the only thing that has been in space."
You do know that there's no air in space, don't you?
"If you look at ancient Sumerian ... tablets, you will see maps of the solar system, accurate descriptions of planets we just visited in this last century, pictures of rocketships, accurate depictions of men in space suits and much more."
No, you won't.
"There is even evidence that a ship of some kind had a collision many thousands of years in the past with one of the moons, and that is what caused it to go in a reverse orbit."
No, there isn't.
Adam didn't exist, he's an *entirely* fictional character. End of fairy tale nonsense.

No you wont. You're a liar.

No, the Bible says "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness", not "Let us make man an exact duplicate of us".
It was the Russians who sent up Laika, wasn't it? Sure, she was not Man per se, but the machine was build by man, engineered by man and she was left out there to die by man.
Nasa lost the race into space, yes. But not to Sumerians, surely.
> Anyone who has read Genesis knows... <
Whenever I see this or hear it I am reminded of a guy who once told me, "Any fool knows a Gila monster will kill you with his breath."
I have since lost interest in the knowledge of fools.
I know, I got "Chariots of the Gods?" for a low, low price of $1 from a local thrift shop too, but unlike you, I read it only because I find it hilarious.
Allow me to introduce myself, Wiley Coyote - SUPER GENIUS
Edit: Fuck you ozzie - you got in first and said it better
First, a brief history lesson of some popular pre-colonial civilizations and their approximate lasting periods (give or take some years, I'm not looking at a textbook right now):
5000 BCE - 2000 BCE Sumerian Civilization
3500 BCE - 200 BCE Egyptian Civilization
2000 BCE - 1200 BCE Babylonian Civilization
2000 BCE - 1500 BCE Minoan Civilization
1600 BCE - 1200 BCE Mycenean Civilization
1600 BCE - 400 BCE Olmec Civilization
1200 BCE - 600 BCE Assyrian Civilization
1100 BCE - 100 BCE Ancient Greek Civilization
1000 BCE - 1600 CE Mayan Civilization
600 BCE - 100 BCE Ancient Roman Civilization
0 CE - 1300 CE Anasazi Civilization
Now a history of religious practices and their development as related to these ancient civilizations:
Sumeria - Shamanism
Egypt - Polytheism
Babylon - Paganism
Minoan - Goddess Worship
Assyria - Judaism / Zoroastrianism
Greece - Pantheism
Mayan - Astrotheology
Rome - Christianity
So, in conclusion I think it is safe to say that Sumerian religion =/= Christianity in any way. It would be safer to say that Christianity ripped off Judaism which ripped off Sumerian religion.
So, you fail.
Thank you for playing.
And, nevertheless, there are no traces or airports, electric devices.............with the fact, as well, that people didn't survive beyond 30, despite so many "advances". Archeological evidence works that way, unfortunately.
So wait, they had knowledge of everything except for good and evil.
Kind of like what you think of scientists today...
@aaa Please someone, make this into a movie. The script basically writes itself and it would own.
Oh, this sounds insane from someone using a computer and I assume a cell phone.
It's true that there was a period of time where humans were advanced (not to the point of being in space, though), but then the Dark Ages came along and it vanished because of the spread of Christianity.

PROTIP: The film/TV series "StarGate" is not a documentary.
"There is even evidence that a ship of some kind had a collision many thousands of years in the past"
Erich von Daniken, is that you?
