I mean with the money, adulation, position and power, all of which were given to him one way or the other under a broad affirmative action umbrella that recognizes only degree of melanin in an individual, in order to shower such gifts without expectation of quality, competency, return in productivity, wisdom, grace or gratitude...why would he bother?

I fucking hate the argument that Obama only got elected because he's black and wahhh wahhh we white males are soooo persecuted. If "affirmative action" is so powerful and black people are being favored over everyone else, why the hell were the last 43 Presidents ALL WHITE DUDES?!
It also makes no sense to blame affirmative action for a position he was VOTED into. But then again, this is Moonbattery, so the poster probably believes in some insane conspiracy theory about how ACORN manipulated everything.

This whole line of nonsense that the white supremacists trot out whenever there's a successful person of color out there reminds me of a speech from the play, "Frost/Nixon," spoken by Richard Nixon himself, who ironically wasn't exactly what you'd call progressive in terms of race relations. In that speech, he basically reveals his bitterness about being constantly looked down upon by the elites, no matter what his accomplishments were. He tells Frost that the "snobs" will always look down on you for being who you are, no matter how hard you try to succeed and improve yourself, and that they'll then laugh at you if you do manage to crash and burn and prove that they were "right."
You are so right, because Obama has not nearly the quality, competency, return in productivity, wisdom, grace or gratitude of Bush, huh.
