Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Jersey have huge Catholic populations. Obama also won easily in those states. That means a lot of Catholics voted for him, including most of my family. The one I can think of who didn't was my cousin, who is not a Catholic, but a fundie Protestant. And that is where the GOP votes come from.

I'm a Catholic and I support Obama. I have reason and logic and I know that abortion rates are actually lowest in nations where it is safe and legal.

Because 50 million Americans who WANT health insurance are being denied the opportunity to have it, either fiscally or by pre-existing condition, simply because they don't work for the right company? Because some of them are freelancers or run small businesses?
