Performance artists. Is it a sin?
Is acting and modeling a sin? How about being a singer, or in a band that isn't singing about the Lord? Or how about dancers? Most dancers aren't dancing for the Lord. Is dancing a sin? Is a supermodel being sinful because she is beautiful and making money off her looks? Isn't that just ego? And isn't acting an ego thing too? How about stand up comedians?

I ask this because it seems those are things that glorify man.
I always look at them and think, if it was a perfect world, people would be worshiping God, not each other. In heaven, and in the new earth, i cant see any of us becoming actors, or super models...etc..
It seems its only for the ego...but then how do you explain people that have these talents? Is it God given?
I'm a bit confused......

So i guess what I'm asking is, do you think basically any kind of performance, *look at me*.. type art... basically a sin?
