In any case, there wouldn't have been much of an "entire world," seeing as how Noah was only a few generations after Adam. What's the point of flooding the entire global sphere when everyone lived in the fertile crescent?

Actually, Confucianism and Buddhism make much more sense. In Confucianism, you try to lead as noble a life as you can for the sake of it and to set an example for others, and in Buddhism you're to practice tolerance, compassion, and to let go of materialism to end suffering for yourself and others.
In Christianity, you're supposed to worship a jealous, murderous god who claims he is loving because he let people eat fruit from a tree when he knew they would, and then made a covenant with people knowing they would break it, and then later sacrificed himself to himself to make himself change the covenant he made. ...It really doesn't make much sense at all.
Homosexuality and pre-marital sex and all that jazz are rampant now, what's God doing? Fuck all, that's what. Why? Because there is no such thing as God. He doesn't exist.

Christianity is logical like Siberia in January is a tropical paradise. Furthermore, pre marital sex hasn't exactly disappeared since the (non-existent) flood, and I can speak from plenty of delightful personal experience here.
I'm not homosexual, but I'm pretty sure that is still with us. The way fundies keep ranting wildly against it is proof enough, as if we needed more proof.

The Bible says they were 'wicked.' It doesn't specify HOW they were wicked, and whether it was thought, word or deed.
