(On homophobia)
Its something called being insulted and repulsed by people openly sinning. If a person seems homophobic and are not violent about it, its simply the same as you seeing a person avoiding thieves, if you see a person stealing in the open will you sit beside them smiling, or want to do something about it?

Fixed. By changing only one word.
Differences between homosexuality and theft :
A thief takes something of yours away, and prevents you from using it.
A homosexual simply exists and doesn't affect you unless you want them to.
Next up, the difference between homosexuality and murder.
Except the thief harms another person. Their activity is a detriment to you, or another. You guys jumping up and down about the love two consenting adults share does not affect you, or anyone else other than each other.
Apples and oranges, dude. Stealing is illegal. Being gay is simply a natural state of being, and is distinctly NOT illegal.
The rest of the world is insulted, disgusted, and repulsed by your behavior -- maybe we *should* avoid you...

And that's why you're spending so much time campaigning against eating shrimp...
You aren't?? But that means you're just sitting next to a thief and smiling...
I can actually see what he's trying to get at, here. He doesn't think his 'phobia' is irrational, hence it is not a phobia.
A pity then, that believing in the concept of sin is irrational.
Stealing is a crime against another person, that is why we should stop it.
Homosexuality has no victims.

Depends if they're gay or not.
Not even close to the same things.
That's the problem with you fundies, you see everything in some sort of weird ethical binary. It's either good or evil, there's nothing in between nor are there things which are outside of being good or evil. It's one of the reasons why many Nordic and Asian religions are better than yours. They have mythological characters/spirits who aren't good or evil, just mischievous or indifferent.
There is a difference. The two people "openly sining", don't interfere with your life, the thieves do. And for the record, police advices NOT TO TAKE ANY ACTION.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
