The atheist crossed the line when they attacked, in writing, the Christian Faith.

I pray for the atheist, that they repent and accept JESUS CHRIST as their Savior and Lord. Only then, will they enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

By that standard, just about every theologian is guilty of hate speech.

Besides, this is an appeal to numbers. How many copies of a book have to sell before it becomes true? Because Mao's "The Little Red Book" has sold almost as many copies, and Mao's combined works have sold more copies than the Bible....

Fiction normally sells well. And well, Mein Kampf was pretty freaking popular too...Hey but it's called the Nazi Bible so I can see why. Personally, I don't see any intimidation, or inciting of any kind in that plaque. Sorry you're a bit touchy. How about you get angry about the fact that they aren't adhering to separation of church and state by having the nativity scene in the first place. So if they took that out no one else would have a reason or want to put anything there. I fail to see why a nativity scene has any place in a -state capital-. The mess of this whole thing should go to show you that it never should have been placed there in the first place.

The Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey outsells the bible on college campuses. And Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching is catching up with the bible as far as translations into different languages. Give it enough time, another 15 years or so, and the Qur'an will be outselling the bible worldwide.

Just because something is popular doesn't make it right. That just means there are more gullible people than intelligent ones. Although not everyone who buys a bible is buying it because they believe in it. Some people just want to have one laying around. Some want to study it for other reasons, but not because they believe in it.

I have been to an ikea more times than I have been to a church, but then again, in Ikea nobody forces you to buy anything, and they have cheap icecream. Plus I can point at something, and say to ikea employee, I'd like pretty much some of that, and I'll get it, if I pay of course. No need to sit and pray. Just go over and say, well just point, and they'll understand.

Nobody here has suggested that you were. The closest we've come is poking fun at the name of the blog wherein David has posted. Which isn't surprising, given how twee it is to give a pronunciation guide to a word that you're too coy to write.

All our mockery of this quote should of course be directed at David. As in fact, it is.
The reason we should be mocking you is your suggestion that the State should invite comments from the KKK against Martin Luther King, (yes, we know you mean to be ironic) and your suggestion that the sign qualifies as an example of hate equivalent to the messages of the KKK. (Yes we know you fail to see the irony).
