Depending on the woman, I'd say all of the above. I used to know a guy who had a thing for Amish chicks.
But, yeah, the fundies masterful at making men feel guilty for finding women attractive, and making women feel guilty for being attractive. And, in fundy world, women don't find men sexually attractive at all.
What the heck do these people think women should wear at the beach? Can't wear a bathing suit or t-shirt and shorts. Oh, I forgot, we should be locked safely away at home so men don't have the opportunity to be forced to ogle us. Seriously, grow up.
And if you are aroused by the sight of a woman's knee , you have more problems than I can help you with.
Don't even get me started with "no matter what the women think."
Learn some self-restraint, jackass. You can't walk into the bakery, eat all the food, then blame the chef for making it smell good (if you'll pardon the odd analogy).
If such things draw the attention of normal, godly, Christian men...
I guess we have to gauge out the eyes on them then so they are not tempted by the devil.

So do you want us to wear a burqa in the water?
Or would a Bikini be less inmodest than a bathing suit? :D
Oh and if you make such a list for women, we should also make a similar list for men :D
Of course, if you are such easily aroused by women thre might be a solution for you:
It is called chemical castration. Some states within the USA already experiment with it, maybe you could enlist as volunteer for tests of these medicines ;)
Shouldn't Good Christian Men be decent enough not to have their attention drawn?
Like really, have some fucking self-control.
@freako104
*GASP* Surely you know that no goodly Christian would DARE tell a woman to wear one of those demonic Burqas! They just think it's immoral to show cleavage...or shoulders...or hair...or legs...or ankles...or their face. Heck, if they're showing skin, they're liable to cause a good Christian boy to stumble, and have the girl gang raped. But they'll be kind enough to let her show her eyes...
This is further into the piece......
"“I am 64 years old now and walking with the Lord Jesus through life. Earlier in my life I was a womanizer as a single man for a long time."
The self righteous bastard. Now that he's past it himself he wants to spoil it for the rest of us.
If my fat ass in a T-shirt and jeans invokes lust, you're the one with the problem, not me.
Learn some self-control, man. Christ.
I love the rape apologist that weighs in on the issue. Granted, I think clothes for little girls, teenagers and women these days are pretty scant. It's hard for me to find skirts that won't ride up over my ass cheeks, but still. I'm not sure, going by that list, what a woman could wear that wouldn't "incite lust". My husband sees scantily clad women every day. I've never noticed him getting a stiffy over it.
I happen to think that men will be attracted to women, no matter what they wear. If every women wore top to toe coverings, men would still want to have sex, because it's normal and natural.
Some people act like men are uncontrollable lust beasts who will rape a woman just because he saw her belly button or something. My advice, stop blaming women for making you feel horny and learn to control yourself in inappropriate situations.

And often, reading the things these fundamentalists write I assume, that this is true for male religious fundamentalists and that they would lose control if they saw a woman in a miniskirt at service (although I think that most of these fundamentalists are too afraid of women so, instead of flirting with her or raping her, they would just commit the sin of secretly jerking off shortly after service :D )
Mmmmmm...revealing women's clothing, aarrgghh (does the Homer Simpson drool thing). Seriously, man, get some fucking will power and stop blaming the women for your weakness, idiot.
...Waht?
That list is a little...contradictory, to say the least.
Oh, yeah. Willpower. Get some please.
Even t-shirts with Xian messages on them are condemned:
A man wrote...in regard to “Christian T-shirts,” warning about “Jesus T-shirts like This Blood’s For You,’ etc., that really degrade the message of Scripture.”
Thank you for giving me something to point to the next time someone says "But Islam is misogynistic, we have to save those poor women from their burkas!"
So long as the religious right is involved, it'll be nothing more than a fight to decide whose kind of misogyny wins.

Now, see? This is the problem with women in America today. If you don't think you're sexy, you're not gonna be sexy! Learn to flaunt what'cha got, sister!
So this only applies to women, once again. Men can wear whatever they want and it doesn't matter if women get turned on?
Some men would get sexually excited seeing a woman in a burqah!
So basically, most items of women's clothing and all of their body parts are an advertisement of sex - regardless of the intentions of the woman.
That is all kinds of disturbing. What she does makes absolutely no difference to someone who already thinks she, and her every action, is public property.
I've spent some time in Turkey, and while the country is quite secular there are still some folks who are pretty old school in some ways. Consequently, it's not that uncommon to find women wearing burqas or similar clothing; and based on this and the fact that Turkish women are pretty devastating, I have to say that there is nothing hotter than a woman not showing any skin. (A little pun hiding in there for you, since we are talking about Turkey, a place where people go in the summer until we can book flights directly to the sun.)
If only women would dress more trampy and show some skin, I wouldn't have to deal with these thoughts and urges! Alone! In the bathroom!
Salaam Alekum, sidiq. Keef aalek?

Why is it that fundies see evil in everything except themselves?
Dress code was initially dictated by the CLIMATE, not by a book compiled by a bunch of semi-literate goat sodomisers.
I like the way that he says this just after the chunk quoted here:
"We included peddle pushers and capris in the original survey but most of the men did not know what they are, so it turned out that the comments on those items were too irrelevant to include in this book."
So presumably he is responsible for lots of normal godly Christian men ogling women in short trousers on Google image searches. heh heh.
Hear, hear! In addition, make sure you men with muscles don't wear tight shirts (you know, muscle shirts and shit), wear ONLY loose, baggy pants, dye your hair blonde (I don't like blonde hair), and get some weird looking eye contacts. Then women will be nice and safe from your lusty male bodies.
I believe that a completely smoking, hot, naked, chick would walk past me, and I would use this amazing talent of mine, called willpower, to avoid ravaging her then and there. Of course, you're just an incredibly lazy person.
This quote is geared more towards Islamic fundamentalism, but it thought that it suited this post.

All of the above, & I'll add nuns outfits, women who dress like schoolgirls & police women.
Haven't you considered that the problem is the man, who is actually lusting, not the woman?. Because, you know, if she's naked, inmoral, and if she's wearing that, inmoral. You confused the target.
“If such things draw the attention of normal, godly, Christian men, by definition they are immodest, no matter what the women think.”
Yeah, but even your savior says that's your own fault. "If thine eye offend thee, pluck it out" and all that.
So, skin-tight head-to-toe latex bodysuits (with optional belt for the whip)are okay?
Unintentional Bondage for Jeebus Award?
SO WOMEN BEING NAKED IS OKAY? 8'D
Ha, just kidding. This guy needs to stop looking at women then, because he can't seem to look at one without wanting to jump her bones.
Confused?
