"im creationist for several reasons
for a start i have found several, i guess you could say, holes in the theory of evolution"
Sure you have. A hundred and fifty years of testing and some anonymous asshole on the internet with no credentials or training has found "holes" in the theory. Yeah, right.
"the first cell, when it "evolved" why would it bother to evolve any more, its the top dog, wouldnt it just sit there completely content w/ being the only living thing on earth?"
Who says it was alone? Likely life developed in more than one way at the same time, hence competition for resources and evolution is on its way.
"this one is a little amusing
lets take the example of a giraffe, so it starts out sorta like a horse, it decides it needs a long neck to eat the food at the top of the tree."
No, jackass, it didn't "decide it needs a long neck". The animals that could reach the higher leaves--due to a genetic mutation--were the ones who had less competition for food and were, therefor, better fed and more able to compete for mates and outrun predators.
No animal consciously decides to evolve you moron.
"so it starts growing a long neck. it finally gets its long neck and reaches up to get some food and passes out cuz it cant get blood to its head (dead)"
You don't seriously think the creature went from having a neck the length of a horse to a neck the length of a giraffe instantaneously, do you?
Why the hell would passing out kill the creature? If its blood flow issues then consciousness returns when blood flow returns, i.e. when the animal falls down. You really should try thinking things through before you simply repeat bullshit your creationist pastor told you.
"so then it starts to evolve a strong muscles to push the blood to its head. its gets the muscles and the long neck."
Wouldn't a more effective solution be to have a larger heart and more efficient vascular system rather than larger neck muscles. I fail to see what the size of the muscles have to do with blood flow to the brain.
"now it can eat from the top of the tree, when it reaches down to get a drink, the blood rushes to its head and its head explodes (dead)"
Ever stood on your head? Did you die? Yeah. And you were directly vertical whereas the giraffe, and its distant relatives, drink at an angle and not straight down.
"then afters its been extinct twice then it knows it needs a long neck, strong muscles to get the blood up there, and a sponge like tissue to soak up blood when its getting a drink"
You're a moron. Use your fucking brain for something other than constructing straw men.
"its the whole thing of "irreducible complexity" where if you take out one part of a system (in this case a giraffe) then it wont work"
Not if you think evolution swaps out parts the way you appear to believe. Gradual change, both in form and function, gives you plenty of things that appear to be "irreducibly complex" (a bullshit term if I ever heard one, by the way).
"this applies to a cell too. if you took out a part of a cell then they wouldnt work anymore."
If I take out your appendix, will you still "work"? Same thing happens when evolution removes something from a cell or other organism which it doesn't require any longer.
"darwin (the inventor of evolution) said that if a cell cant be reduced then my theory wont work"
Care to cite the page and edition of one of his works where he says this? A personal letter somewhere maybe?
"(he came up w/ his theory before we really knew much of anything about cells, i believe at the time the were just thought to be little blobs, which they arent)"
Cellular biology supports evolution in every way. I can't imagine how you think it doesn't.
"now the whole theory of natural selection, i do believe in (its not actually a set part of evolution, but it does work in w/ the whole theory)"
Natural selection is one of the founding principles of evolution you twit.
"in my freshman biology class we studied about how when the grand canyon was formed a group of rodents live in the area and was separated by the chasm. over time they each adapted to there different environments and even became different colors"
Oh, look. Evolution at work. Apparently you're either too indoctrinated with creationist twaddle or to ignorant to see it. Possibly both.
"lol, sorry that took so much space and all but i hope it helped
feel free to ask me stuff if you would like, i cant promise that ill have the answer but ill do my best to answer the best i can"
I have a question: why the hell don't you get yourself educated about evolution before you go telling others it isn't real?
