"Why would we need to come up with any new evidence when there is already so much evidence that Atheists ignore? Atheism is based on either spite for God, or "scientists", but not science, and definitely not on solid reason. People are so easily swayed by what the guy on TV says that they rarely look into the evidence themselves."
Mr. Pot, meet Mr. Kettle.
"Have you ever figured out how complex a cell is in the most simple form. A cell is much more compicated than a PC."
Well, let's see. A cell is programmed to do the following: intake nutrients, produce proteins, avoid poisonous environments, and to replicate its DNA and divide to make more cells.
Computers are programmed to draw pictures, write and format reports, record, play and edit videos, record and play back sound files, play games, search the Internet for specific search terms, communicate with other Internet users, upload and download files, all in a variety of formats. Not bad for a machine that does all this by adding 1s and 0s together!
"It is next to impossible for a cell to have come from soup by natural selection."
Of course it is, because that's not how natural selection works. Natural selection has to do with the survival of creatures already in existence.
"Have you ever asked yourself a very simple question? Do accidents breed destruction, or complex life forms? Anyone with half a brain could tell you that accidents breed destruction."
All right, consider sickle-cell anemia. A few thousands of years ago in Africa, some peoples' DNA mutated to create the sickle-cell gene. Sickle-cell anemia is a recessive trait; this means that a person has to have two copies of the sickle-cell gene to have this disease. Sickle-cell anemia causes red blood cells to take on an elongated shape, instead of the normal round one. This prevents the cells from carrying as much oxygen as they should, and can cause the carrier to die from a level of physical activity that is harmless to everyone else.
So why is sickle-cell anemia still around? Well, if a person is a "carrier" of SCA, meaning that they have one normal gene and one sickle-cell gene, that person produces both normal and sickle cells. They can still handle normal physical activity. Remember that SCA is most common in Africa. Another disease common in Africa is malaria, which is often spread by mosquitoes through blood contact (bites). If the malaria encounters sickled cells, it can't survive as easily in the body. So being a sickle-cell carrier actually protects people from malaria! The same chance mutation causes some people to live longer, and others to die.
"Yet people still believe that there is no God simply because anyone who questions macro-evolution is hushed and jeered as if it's a political arena, and not a science arena."
Evolutionary theory has nothing to do with why people do or don't believe in God. No atheist I've ever met has used evolution as a reason to turn away from religion. And I've met a lot of atheists.
"This is because modern "science" has turned into politics."
In some cases, it has. Look at how many scientists continue to support the Big Bang Conjecture, even though it was disproven over a decade ago. It's scary to be the one to say "You guys are all wrong, I've found out how things really work." Once we find a more rational explanation for how the universe began (if it had a beginning at all), the Big Bang will be considered as ridiculous and outdated as the geocentric model of the solar system.
"If you want evidence, just look around at the complexities of life. It is just too complex to say that natural selection did it, especially if you want to call it science."
Ah, but science has proven that natural selection, coupled with mutations, did bring all this complexity about. How else would you explain the human tailbone? Humans don't have tails, so why is it there, unless we once had tails in the past and lost the need for them? Why do all vertebrate embryos look so similar? Until the major organs are all in place, a fish embryo, a chicken embryo, a dog embryo, and a human embryo all look the same. Why?
