I certainly believe that this election has supernatural involvement. There is no other explanation for Obama's sudden rise.

Maybe Obama is really Jesus.

"Maybe Obama is really Jesus?"
Hmmm. You may actually be onto something here. After all, it does say in the book of Revelation that, when Jesus makes his grand re-entrance, he'll have skin like bronze, and hair like wool.
It doesn't matter what denomination of Christian you may be, folks: that right there is the description of a black man.

I blame that he wants to change America for the better.
10/11/2008 8:43:46 PM
That's right RR, gawd wants Obama as president!
10/11/2008 8:46:42 PM
o.O It's JEESSUSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Oh, no, wait, He's white. Nevermind...
10/11/2008 8:47:50 PM
supernatural involvement = the involvement of people with an IQ over 60....
10/11/2008 8:48:34 PM
Of course it does. Now why don't we go drill some holes through your skull with a power drill so the evil spirits can escape?
10/11/2008 8:52:25 PM
I certainly believe you are a complete waste of skin. There is no other explanation for your stupid comments.

"That would've worked if you hadn't stopped me."

I agree. God is saying "They're voting for a conservative AGAIN?" and sending Obama in to fix things.
10/11/2008 9:16:55 PM
Yeah, God got sick of lying Republican cheats killing Americans and Iraqis for war profits, American children going to bed hungry and with no insurance to cover their illnesses while big business CEOs get golden parachutes and their companies corporate welfare for huge GOP contributions, and the rich getting richer through tax breaks which rob the poor and middle class. He also probably got tired of fundie Pharisees putting their own personal political bigotry and prejudices in his mouth. Yeah, about time a loving God got on the side of his people instead of the greedy and self-serving frauds.
10/11/2008 9:28:46 PM
Perhaps god had a hand in his rise to glory.
10/11/2008 9:32:19 PM
Well yeah if you consider being endorsed by Oprah to be supernatural involvement.
10/11/2008 9:49:51 PM
How about he's a good politician?

Jezebel's Evil Sister
Shut up, you hell-bound heathen. That "supernatural involvement" you criticize is no less than the hand of your almighty God, for scripture tells us that ALL governing authorities are established by Him.
Romans 13:1 — "Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God."
I don't have to believe it, but YOU do.
10/11/2008 10:00:29 PM
God wants Obama to be President. It's the only explanation.
10/11/2008 10:02:51 PM
Well there's no natural explanation for Bush, either.
10/11/2008 10:19:53 PM
Or people are really sick of G. Dub. That could be it.
10/11/2008 10:40:33 PM
Actually, it has more to do with people finally realizing that fundy morons who Believe in magic are unfit for a place in our government. They are reckless radicals who make catastrophic decisions.
And the backlash is just beginning. If nothing else, Bible Spice (Palin) might serve to remind rational people that fundies are dangerous cretins. And with any luck at all, we are angry enough to outnumber the idiots at the polls.

Planet Earth with all it's inhabitants, is the best argument against any form of gods.
Besides, nothing supernatural can influence anything in a natural world, once it does, it becomes natural.
10/11/2008 10:41:41 PM
There is a perfectly rational explanation. Some people in America are not raving lunatics.
10/11/2008 10:44:53 PM
The explanation is simple. It's Bush's continuation of Reagan's Voodoo Economics* that's created the need for an Obama.
*That's what Daddy Bush called it, way back when he was running against Reagan for the Republican nomination
10/11/2008 10:56:17 PM
In that case, all is lost, and you'd best stay home on election day.
10/11/2008 11:29:19 PM
I wouldn't call it "sudden," since many people, particularly Democrats, have disliked the Bush administration and Republicans for years now.
And while I don't believe he is an actual Messiah, as some conservatives think Democrats think of him as (just for the record, I'm an Independent,) I do agree with his position of trying to free the U.S. from Big Oil.
10/11/2008 11:29:42 PM
At least she isn't saying that it's Satan's work. Obama's not a Catholic. Who knew?
