[On whether Global Warming Happening?]
I think it's a bit cooler here in the Midwest too...plus I don't believe in the global warming thing. It's a religion not a reality . IMHO (rolls eyes)
Blessings to all,

Two issues, the first being that you clearly don't understand what constitutes a religion and the second is that it's climate change you need to worry about, not global warming.
Unless you think extreme weather is god punishing the US for something, gays probably.
That's like saying, "I don't believe there are two billion Christians worldwide, 'cause I hardly know any".
Seriously, how is it possible, in the Age of Information, to be this god damned stupid?
The correct term is worldwide climate change. It may not affect the planet so much that it can't recover in a few million years, but it's going to kill us - the human species - off.
It's not a question of anything but survival for the human race and its modern civilization.
Fuckers like you, savedatcamp, keep obscuring the issue. What are you, suicidal or something?
The oceans are warmer, and that's about 7/8 of the earth. Besides, global warming doesn't claim one particular area will get warmer. It predicts that weather will get more violent and extreme. Has that not happened in the Midwest?
So you admit that religion isn't reality?
Oh, that's right, you don't consider your kooky beliefs a religion -- it's a "relationship with god", whatever the hell that means.
Global Warming is not a fully accurate name, so others have adopted the name Global Climate Change, because it does involve some areas getting colder. Read a little about it before you say it is false based only on its not-fully-accurate former name.
"It's a religion not a reality"
I wish you guys could realize this about your own beliefs, but you've already got enough special pleading to cover every other religion and make them false.
Anyway, global warming is a scientific hypothesis, but it annoys me because I find it completely irrelevant. Whether or not global warming is there, we need to reduce pollution, get off oil, and recycle more stuff, for better reasons which are already established, like that fucking haze over Los Angeles.
"I think it's a bit cooler here in the Midwest too...plus I don't believe in the global warming thing."
Localized climate shifts have nothing to do with global warming. Global warming deals with the average temperature of the planet , not your little piece of it.
"It's a religion not a reality"
Everything is a religion to you people. Well, everything except Christianity. That's a "relationship with Jesus" or some bullshit.
Get a globe. Find the midwest. See how small a portion of the globe it is.
I'm sure you're quite shocked and probably insisting that the globe is a liberal conspiracy to make the US look smaller than it really is, but try to absorb the idea a bit at a time.
Really? Cooler? Umm, sweetie, I'm up in the state formally known as Minne-snow-da and we haven't had a "real winter" in so many years the bug/animal/plant life are all going crazy as well as drought conditions because of lack of snow fall. Our 10,000 lakes are so warm fish populations are dying out because they can't handle the heat.
... but hey, this is a throw away planet and all that. Er, something.
Funny, the west coast is hotter than hell. Isn't that proof (IYourHO) of Global Warming?
Oh, and to the newbie's to the fundie dictionary.
Christianity: A Personal Relationship with Jesus, sweet, sweet, loving Jesus who will uh..... ah...... I'm filled with the holy spirit OH GOD!!!
Religion: Anything we don't like
Therefore, they're not religious because science is a religion.
That really hurt to type out
Funny thing is, down here in Wisconsin, we've been having mini-ice ages in terms of snow (and ice) during the winter/spring months for the past several years.
Not like I agree with his logical fallacy, though.
It's Global Climate Change, dearie. Globally it's getting warmer, and fast. Some parts are getting wetter, some windier, some warmer and, yes, some cooler.
We've had a very warm winter, only a week or so below minus 10 degrees centigrade, and quite a few weeks above freezing.
You don't like religions?
Find a globe. Yes, that basketball-sized globe so familiar in classrooms. You can cover the Midwest with two fingers.
Now define "global". You may phone a friend if necessary.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
