Crime is a function of population, social inequality, education and limited opportunity. If Muslim immigrants have few opportunities, no education and crummy living conditions, they'll commit more crimes as will Christian fundamentalists in the same situation.
Further evidence of historical ignorance. If you really want some crime in London, check out the entirely Christian 19th century there, back when even Jews were barred from most jobs and neighborhoods. Then tell me your explanation for skyrocketing crime among all those good churchgoers.
Well, that certainly explains New York. What with Islamic areas like Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn... Although I hear it's getting better now that they're rounding up all the jews and blacks. Now you only get stabbed on the subway, whereas back in the old days you'd get stabbed, mugged, and set on fire.

London is a major city. Major cities have crime. This is like saying that New York is getting more and more crime ridden because it's swarming with poodles.

I think you're getting your wires crossed. If I had to guess I'd say that crime has gone up due to the economy taking some hits.
It's funny how Christians, Jews and Muslims all practice basically the same religion, yet they all accuse each other of being morons and criminals. They're insulting themselves, and completely oblivious to it. I love it!
