Within its lifetime? What, so the proto-whale jumped into the ocean and its hind legs instantly shrank?
Jeez, this is turning into another round of them claiming they believed the earth was round all along and science said it was flat, what with their constant spewing random nonsense and attributing it to our position.

Dumbass, Lamarkian evolution was disproved a fucking long time ago.
5/1/2008 2:19:25 AM
EVOLUTION DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY! GOODNIGHT!
Oh, wait. Also: Then why do BABY whales, when they are BORN have the vestigial limbs?
5/1/2008 2:19:57 AM
At the risk of being a grammar nazi... any point made using the phrase "would of" instead of "would have" is automatically wrong.
5/1/2008 2:39:04 AM
Step right up folks, step right up! For the first time ever, and the only place in the world, our show tent offers you instant evolution! Watch an animal instantly adapt to its environment before your very eyes. Brought to you by the world renowned man of intelligence, RobertByers!
5/1/2008 2:40:11 AM
The whales didn't evole but instantly adapted to new conditions. In fact probably within a creatures lifetime.
The whales decided they didn't need legs, so they altered their egg and sperm cells so their babies would be born without legs.
5/1/2008 2:42:18 AM
It's like when I adjust the thermostat: instant adaptation!
5/1/2008 2:53:03 AM
So you believe that if I performed surgery to replace your lungs with gills and thus forced you to live in the ocean, your legs and arms would 'adapt' [read: evolve] into flippers?
Genetics and the modern understanding of evolution disagree.
5/1/2008 2:59:30 AM
Careful lighting a cigarette near this one. Methane is flammable.
5/1/2008 3:08:51 AM
If he's claiming that the whale's legs have simply atrophied, wouldn't that mean that with enough exercising and muscle training, the whales could get their legs back up to full strength to be able to walk on land again?
Oh wait, I forgot. This is all bullshit.
5/1/2008 3:11:30 AM
Ending your science education with the historical reference to Lamarkian evolution doesn't make you an expert.
GO BACK TO CLASS!
5/1/2008 3:13:33 AM
vishnu save us
i like his use of the words "in fact". eeeehehehehehehe
5/1/2008 3:18:30 AM
Oh, hey, that's perfect. I'll just throw this guy into the water and he should sprout gills right away, no problem.
5/1/2008 3:31:13 AM
This is just endlessly recycled bullshit.
5/1/2008 3:36:39 AM
Robbie Byers! Does your mother know what you're doing? Turn off her computer immediately and go back to bed. Tomorrow's a school day.

5/1/2008 3:50:00 AM
You're basically arguing for the type of evolution that is a straw man used by other creationists to discredit evolution. This is just a new level of fail.
5/1/2008 4:03:10 AM
When I was a kid I tumbled down some very high stairs, outside. Why didn't I evolve the ability to fly? God just doesn't like toddlers?
5/1/2008 4:23:20 AM
Instant evolution gonna get you
Gonna look you right in the face
Better get yourself together darlin'
Join the human race

funky fresh salad
A LINK? What is this nonsense?! TAKE IT AWAY!
From now on, NO MORE INTERNET LINKS!
5/1/2008 4:42:04 AM
"and don't like internet links"
Then what the fuck are you doing on the internet? Links are pretty essential, dumbass.
5/1/2008 4:45:17 AM
So why don't we instantly evolve when we move to a cold climate? Why don't I instantly evolve a fur coat? When I go swimming why don't I instantly evolve flippers?
Anyway the fact that we can't instantly evolve is used by fundies to dispute evolution. So please PICK A FUCKING ARGUMENT AND STICK TO IT!
5/1/2008 4:53:29 AM
Wow, even other fundies disagree with you...
5/1/2008 6:10:32 AM
Like whales they would of kept bit and pieces of anything they no longer used.
Rather like Robert and his brain
5/1/2008 6:42:10 AM
What the hell!
